Im Weiler Liahane bespannen zwei Männer zwei Sanduhrtrommeln mit Eidechsenhaut: Entfernen der alten und Wässern der neuen Häute, Schnurherstellung, Harzgewinnung, Bespannen und Schlagen der Trommeln.
Abstract:
In preparation for a sagari festival two drums are newly covered with lizard skin. All procedures involved in the process are shown here with the exception of the preliminary treatment of the skin. The production of madawa resin is included.
