Abstract:
Eine alte Egerländerin klöppelt eine kleine, runde Spitzendecke. Dabei werden verschiedene Musterelemente wie Formschlag, Leinenschlagbändchen und Fleckchen miteinander kombiniert. Die Zwischenflächen werden mit vierteiligen Flechten und Rosengrund ausgefüllt. Mit Zeitdehnung.
Abstract:
A lace-maker from Egerland is working on a lace pillow in horizontal-cylinder form with eight to twenty bobbins. She is showing as well basic patterns of this handicraft as specific elements of her own country of origin: lace, pattern, hand movements, how to work, and execution. After short preparatory work the lace-maker makes a small round lace mat. Different elements: leaf stitch (Formschlag), whole stitch (Leinenschlag), and little spots (Fleckchen), executed in three stages of working, are combined, the spaces between the designs are filled with plaiting (Flechten) and rose ground (Rosengrund).
