Abstract:
The film shows a woman of Saran (Valley of Mungan, Province of Badaxsan, North-East Afghanistan) baking flat-cakes. The process is completely recorded from sieving of the flour to the finished bread, including shots of the fresh, crispy flat-cakes being eaten.
