Abstract:
Der Tanz wurde zum Zwecke der Dokumentation vorgeführt: Imbiß der Fahnenkompanie und der Hänsele; Antreten zum Gottesdienst; Marschieren zum Rathaus; Bürgermeister erteilt die Aufführungsgenehmigung; Schwertletanz; Maidletanz.
Abstract:
The film shows the performance of the Überlingen sword dance in 1962. It begins with the morning breakfast of the colour-comppany and of the "Hänsele". After forming up the colour-copmany and the rest of the companies march to divine service and then to the town hall square. After the burgomaster has given his approval the dance is performed. The sword dance is followed by a maidens' dance. A second performance of the sworrd dance was filmed once again.
