Abstract:
North American zooarchaeologists believe most early reports consisted of laundry lists. * Fifty-five percent of titles appearing between 1900 and 1959 are laundry lists. * Twenty percent of titles appearing between 1960 and 1979 are laundry lists. * Including 74 titles authored by zoologists increases the percentage of laundry lists. * It is difficult to sustain the belief that most early reports are laundry lists.
