Abstract:
Literature research is the basis and starting point of good scientific work. However, it is often based on subjective selection. The "systematic literature analysis", new in the social sciences, provides increased objectivity and transparency through the consistent application of an algorithm and variable allocation. This introduction to the database-supported method offers students in Bachelor and Master programs both theoretical and practical tools. Literaturrecherchen sind Grundlage und Ausgangspunkt guten wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens. Oft beruhen sie jedoch auf einer subjektiven Auswahl. Die in der Sozialwissenschaft neue "Systematische Literaturanalyse" sorgt durch die konsequente Anwendung eines Algorithmus und durch Variablenvergabe für mehr Objektivität und Transparenz. Diese Einführung in die datenbankgestützte Methode bietet Studierenden in Bachelor- und Master-Studiengängen das theoretische und praktische Handwerkszeug.
