Abstract:
This database includes national consumer prices indices (CPIs) with a detailed breakdown by 12 COICOP divisions (e.g. clothing and footwear, health, transport, education. The annual expenditure weights are also available for the 12 COICOP Divisions (except Australia). Weights are defined as the proportion of total household expenditure spent on a given product during the weight reference period. This dataset is the result of a joint OECD-IMF data collection of national CPIs at a detailed level according to the COICOP classification.
