    Abstract: Von der Trendsportart Parkour über das Alte Testament bis hin zur Berliner Hausbesetzerszene - die vielfältigen Beiträge dieses Sammelbandes stellen sich der Herausforderung, Fragen zu den Verschränkungen von Raum und Geschlecht anders zu denken. Vorherrschende Interpretationen aktueller gesellschaftlicher Phänomene sowie etablierte Forschungsgegenstände werden dabei auf den Prüfstand gestellt, um vergeschlechtlichten Machtstrukturen auf die Spur zu kommen. So finden sich widerständige Maschen und machtvolle Muster in einem breiten Themenspektrum, das von der Betrachtung performativer Akte und diskursiver Strukturen bis hin zu medialen Aufbereitungen reicht. Einführende Kommentare von Nikita Dhawan, Antje Flüchter, Stephan Günzel, Sabine Hark und Helga Meise rahmen die Beiträge.
    Abstract: From the sports trend of parkour, via the Old Testament, up to the Berlin squatting scene - the different contributions to this volume take up the challenge of rethinking questions about the entanglement of space and gender. Predominant interpretations of current societal phenomena as well as established research topics are examined in order to trace gendered power structures. Thus, resistant moves/tricks (Maschen) and powerful games/acts (Muster) are found in a wide range of topics reaching from observations of performative acts and discourse structures all the way to medial treatments. Introductory comments by Nikita Dhawan, Antje Flüchter, Stephan Günzel, Sabine Hark, and Helga Meise frame the contributions.     Abstract: Gender and discourse interface in many more epistemological sites than can be represented in one collection. Gender Identity and Discourse Analysis therefore focuses on a principled diversity of key sites within four broad areas: the media, sexuality, education and parenthood.     Abstract: This book proposes an original policy framework for addressing hate speech. Gelber argues that a policy designed to provide support to affected groups and communities to enable them to speak back when hate speech occurs, is a more useful way of addressing the harms of hate speech than punitive measures. She suggests that "speaking back" allows the affected groups to contradict the messages contained in the words of the hate speakers, and to counteract the silencing, disempowering and marginalising effects of hate speech. Gelber's argument uniquely synthesises the ideas of defending the importance of participating in speech, recognising the harms of hate speech and acknowledging that targeted groups may require assistance to respond.
