The particles are heated and fused to a substrate (Combinatorial Laser Fusing) or they are transferred trough a shock wave to another substrate (Combinatorial Laser Transfer). This way, microarrays with up to 1 million spots per cm² are produced whereas the number of chemical coupling cycles is minimized

    Kurzfassung: In this thesis methods are presented to optimize the radiation characteristic of holographic antennas for the usage with frequency-modulated radar modules (FMCW principle). This combination allows the simultaneous measuring of distance and angular position to targets within a scenario, due to the frequency-scanning property of this antenna type. This work focuses on the design of the integrated, holographic antennas and their optimization in terms of important system parameters

    Kurzfassung: Electrode microstructures of a high energy and a high power lithium-ion cell were analyzed in 3D using tomographic methods. Calculation of structural parameters enabled a quantitative comparison of the electrodes. To simulate their electrochemical behavior a finite element model was developed which, for the first time, includes a real particle size distribution. This allowed for an identification of the limiting mechanisms during charging and discharging in the electrodes of both cells
