    Abstract: Frauen und Mädchen graben im Wald Wurzeln und Knollen aus, sammeln Pilze und Nüsse. Im Lager kochen sie daraus ein Gericht, das Fleisch, Knollen, Pilze, Gemüse und gestampfte Nüsse enthält. Die Mahlzeit wird von den Mitgliedern des Haushaltes gemeinsam verzehrt.
    Abstract: In the forest women and girls dig out roots and tubers, collect mushrooms and nuts. In the camp they prepare a dish consisting of meat, tubers, mushrooms, vegetables, and pounded nuts, which is eaten collectively by the members of the household.

    Abstract: Netze werden in einem Kreis um das Wild ausgespannt. Die Tiere (hauptsächlich Duckerantilopen) werden in die Netze getrieben, erschlagen, abgehäutet, zerlegt und mit Tragekörben in das Lager gebracht. Das Fleisch wird durch Räuchern konserviert. An der Jagd nehmen Männer, Frauen und größere Kinder teil.
    Abstract: The nets are set in a great circle, the animals (chiefly duikers) are driven into them and killed. The game is skinned and cut into pieces, then carried in baskets to the camp. Meat is preserved by smoking. The hunt is carried on by men, women, and older children.

    Abstract: Auf einer Lichtung im Regenwald schlägt eine Pygmäengruppe ihr Lager auf. Die Arbeitsvorgänge beim Bau einer Kuppelhütte werden vollständig gezeigt: Aus biegsamen Ästen wird das Gerüst errichtet, dann das Bettgestell aufgebaut. Mit Blättern wird die Hütte abgedeckt.
