    Abstract: Opferziegen und Hirsebier werden von Männern und Frauen am Festplatz des Dorfes zusammengetragen. Es treten eine Reihe von Kanaga-Masken auf, die einzeln oder zu mehreren verschiedene Tänze aufführen. Eine Peulfrauen-Maske nimmt Geschenke entgegen. Kurz ist eine Krokodilmaske zu sehen.
    Abstract: Sacrificial goats and millet beer are brought together on the village festival ground by men and women. A series of kanaga masks appear and perform various dances singly, in pairs or in groups. A Peul woman mask accepts gifts. A crocodile mask can be seen briefly.

    Abstract: Die in Wasser geweichten Hirsestengel werden gesplissen, nebeneinander gelegt und an einem Ende mit Rindenbast zusammengeschlungen. Dann wird das Diagonalgeflecht in Köperbindung hergestellt. Die Ränder werden mit einem angenähten Wulst und einem dreiteiligen Zopf fixiert und befestigt.
    Abstract: The millet stalks which have been softened in water are split and laid beside each other. The first stage is to bind them together at one end with bark bast. Next, the part plaiting is fabricated, and the edges fastened and fixed with sewn-on padding and a three-strand plait.

    Abstract: Ein durch die Regenzeit stark beschädigtes Strohkegeldach eines Speichers wird erneuert. Das Dachgerüst aus gebündelten Hirsestengeln wird mit getrocknetem Buschgras umgeben und mit Rindenstreifen befestigt, dann wird die Spitze gebunden. Das fertige Dach wird auf den Speicher gehoben und an dessen Dachsparren befestigt.
    Abstract: A granary roof severely damaged by the rains is to be replaced by a new one. After a search in the bush for suitable branches, the measurements of the old roof are taken, the truss erected from millet stalks, surrounded with dried bush grass, fastened with strips of bark and the top is attached. The ready roof is then lifted on to the granary and fixed to its rafters.
