    Abstract: Ausschnitte aus dem Umzug am Rosenmontag: Bürger des Marktes ziehen maskiert und in altmodischer Frauenkleidung mit Blasinstrumenten, großen Trommeln und Topfdeckeln durch den Ort. Sie besuchen öffentliche Institutionen, Geschäftsleute, Honoratioren und vor allem Gasthäuser. Einen Höhepunkt bildet die Aufnahme neuer Mitglieder.
    Abstract: Citizens of the market town go in masks and old-fashioned female clothing through the village, carrying with them big drums and pot-lids. They visit public institutions (e. g. school, town hall), traders, people of rank and - above all - inns. One culmination points is the admission of new members. Scientific film document shooted on shrove monday 1977.

    Abstract: Neben dem Treiben der bekannten Maskengruppen ("Flinserln", "Pleß" und "Trommelweiber") sind weitere Aktivitäten für die Faschingszeit in Bad Aussee typisch: verschiedene Bälle, organisierte Umzüge und das oftmals improvisierte Auftreten von Maskierten, "Maschkerer" genannt. Aufgenommen vom 16.-19. Februar 1980. Scientific film document shot on February 16-19, 1980.
    Abstract: Beside the wellknown mask-groups of "Flinserln", "Pleß" and "Trommelweiber" there are further activities which are typically for shrovetide in Bad Aussee: several balls, organized processions and the often improvised appearing of masked and costumed people called "Maschkerer".
