Abstract:
Abstract:
Accompanied by drum beats, rattles and rhythmical clapping of the spectators two men dance the Tschiheu mask dance. The dance of the Tschihongo mask is performed by a single person communicating with the bystanders. The dancer of the Mwana Pwo wooden mask imitates a woman. Other dance formations are a women's circle dance around a drum and a women's group dance around a sick woman in order to drive out her demon.
