    Abstract: Eine Frau spaltet Lianen mit den Zähnen zu dünnen, 2 m langen flechtfähigen Streifen. Sie werden an den Enden in Einzelbündel zusammengefaßt und quer durchflochten. Eine andere Frau flicht aus gespaltenen Lianenstreifen ein Körbchen in einfacher Leinenbindung, das von einer viereckigen Bodenfläche aus zylindrisch zu ca. 20 cm Höhe emporwächst.
    Abstract: A woman splices vine fibres with her teeth into thin, plaitable stripes of 2 metres length. They are fixed into bundles at the ends and plaited diagonally. Another woman plaits a little basket in simple linen-weave technique, which rises cylindrically from a square basis up to a height of approximately 20 cm.

    Abstract: A man cuts a conic hole into a soft wooden slat from the cacao tree, lays it on a pad to leave a hollow for the tinder. He vertically puts a wooden rod into the hole and drills with both hands from top to bottom until the hot grit falls onto the tinder and lights it.

    Abstract: Aus Baumwollflocken formt eine Frau Ringe und spinnt sie mit frei herunterhängender Spindel. Um zwei Spannpfosten windet ein Mann einen Baumwollfaden in endloser Spirale zu zwei dichten, vertikalen Fadenwänden, bereitet Querverbindungen vor, verknotet sie auf der obersten Bahn und führt die herunterhängenden Enden wie zwei jeweils gedoppelte Schußfäden durch die sich dadurch ineinanderschiebenden Längsfadenwände.
    Abstract: A woman makes rings from cotton flakes and spins them with a suspended spindle. A man winds a cotton thread around two poles in an endless spiral forming two dense vertical threadwalls, prepares tie trunks, knots them with the upper panel and draws the hanging ends like two doubled wefts through the longitudinal walls fitting into each other.

    Abstract: Um neue Mitglieder in den nur Frauen zugänglichen Bundu-Orden aufzunehmen, wird im Busch ein Ordensdorf errichtet, in das die Buschgeister durch einen Maskentanz geholt werden. Im Hauptdorf zelebrieren Ordensangehörige Ahnenopfer und zeigen Tanzproben. Das Abschlußfest besteht aus Tänzen und einem Umzug der Frauen durch das Hauptdorf und dem Auftritt der Bundu-Geister im Ordensdorf. Auch dieser Teil der Zeremonie ist von Tänzen der Frauen begleitet. Aufgenommen mit 16 B/s; Vorführgeschw. 18 B/s.
    Abstract: To adopt new members in the Bundu order, which is restricted to women only, an order village is erected in the bush and the bush spirits are called in with a mask dance. In the main village the members of the order sacrifice to the ancestors and show dance rehearsals. The final feast consists of dances and a procession of the women in the main village and the performance of the Bundu spirits in the village of the order. This part of the ceremony is also accompanied by women's dances.Recording speed 16 fps, projection speed 18 fps.

    Abstract: In Ifran-Aly stellt eine Frau mehrere rötlichbraune Schüsseln ohne Bemalung und Dekor her: Tongewinnung mit Platthacke aus einem Stollen, Einfüllen in eine geflochtene Tragetasche; Aufbereitung (Mischen mit Wasser, Kneten mit der Hand); Hochtreiben mit Hilfe einer Tonscherbe, die mit der Hand auf einem umgekehrten Topfboden gedreht wird; Polieren mit einem glatten Stein und Lederlappen; Trocknen im Schatten; Brennen im Ofen.
    Abstract: A woman in Ifran-Aly makes some red-brown bowls without decoration; the process starts with digging the clay in a pit, transport in a woven bag, mixing and kneading. Then the forming with the help of a hand-turned potsherd is shown, polishing with a smooth stone and a piece of leather, drying and firing.
