Abstract:
Männer schneiden mit Sensen Korn, Frauen binden mit Hilfe von kleinen dreizinkigen Holzharken und Strohbändern die Garben. Wettkampf um die letzte Garbe. Herrichten des Fock, der dem Hofbesitzer unter Aufsagen eines Gedichtes überreicht wird. Festliches Einfahren des letzten Fuders mit der Erntekrone und anschließendes Erntefest (Fockbier) der Beteiligten im Hofe des Bauern.
Abstract:
Before harvesting the crop is examined whether it is mature. On the harvest-day men and women go out to the field for reaping. After work they make the so-called Fock, a forked stick decorated with ears and flowers. The Fock and the harvest-wreath are presented to the farmer. Harvesting is closed by a festival in the farm-house.
