Galileo v Dialogu obravnava tri glavne teme. Najprej skuša pokazati, da na Zemlji izvedljivi poskusi ne morejo pokazati niti njene negibnosti niti njenega gibanja. Nato preučuje nebesne pojave (Sončeve pege, gore na Luni ...), da bi utrdil »kopernikansko hipotezo«.     Abstract: This book ('Slovenia's development challenges') deals with fundamental issues of Slovenia's development. It explains the main issues in Slovenia's Development Strategy, and evaluates its bases and the direct effects of individual development measures.     Abstract: Knjiga obravnava temeljna razvojna vprašanja Slovenije. Osvetljuje osrednje dileme Strategije razvoja Slovenije, vrednoti njena izhodišča in neposredne učinke posameznih razvojnih ukrepov. Avtorji so odpirali pereča razvojna vprašanja ter iskali možne odgovore, nove spodbude, potenciale in priložnosti. Izhajali so iz predpostavke, da je njihova naloga iskanje rešitev za gospodarsko uspešno, socialno pravično, okolju prijazno in etično odgovorno družbo, k tem ciljem pa morajo stremeti tudi razvojna prizadevanja.     Abstract: The routes between the north Adriatic and the Apennine peninsula on the west and the Balkans and the central Danubian plains on the east ran across Razdrto ever since ancient times. In the late prehistory and in the early Roman era the pass of Razdrto was known under the name of Ocra as was the mountain above it.Several Bronze age sites were discovered in the area of the Razdrto pass.The posts in the Razdrto area from the end of the 2nd and first half of the 1st century BC (Mandrga, Preval) differ from the other sites along the east Alpine routes, as they were not spatially linked to any of the existing indigenous settlements and did not show any contact with the surroundings even with their small objects. Most of the remains can be explained as traces of Roman passengers who stopped at Razdrto for a shorter period of time and not as remnants of a significant Roman settlement.A gravel covered road was constructed across the Razdrto pass in the second half of the 1st century BC or in the Augustan period. A roadside building was erected in the middle or late Augustan period and demolished in the mid 1st century AD.The shift of transit from Razdrto to Hrušica (Ad Pirum) took place in the 1st century AD. Post 1st century AD written sources no longer mention the road across Ocra, and the archaeological remains dating after the mid 1st century AD are extremely modest at Razdrto

    Abstract: Skalne oblike so pomembna sled oblikovanja in razvoja površinskih kraških pojavov. Še zlasti bogat je njihov zapis na različnih škrapljah. Razkriva nam številne dejavnike, ki v raznovrstnih razmerah oblikujejo kraško površje na različnih karbonatnih in drugih kamninah. Skušali smo zajeti najbolj značilne skalne oblike in skozi njih najbolj pomembne dejavnike in procese oblikovanja kraškega površja ter načine njihovega raziskovanja in najbolj izrazite primere.     Abstract: The scientific monograph Dežela - knez - stanovi [Province - Duke - Estates] describes the formation of Carniolan provincial estates at the time when they completed their constitutional consolidation and obtained a constructive political equilibrium with the duke. The central part reconstructs the composition of the Carniolan estates within the first century of their existence and the operations of the provincial diet until the death of Emperor Maximilian I. The monograph covers almost two centuries of the late medieval and early modern political and constitutional history. In doing so, it does not limit itself to the Province of Carniola, but discusses it in relation to other Habsburg provinces. This is the first complex presentation of the problem, based on a wide array of sources and comparisons with the development in the neighbouring countries. The work represents a research into an important question concerning the Carniolan as well as broader Slovenian history at the turn of the Middle Ages and Modern Period. It is a broadly based study and the first of its kind in Slovenian historiography to address the selected theme. Moreover, the monograph also bears importance for the broader, especially Austrian-German area.The book is divided into eleven chapters.     Abstract: Znanstvena monografija Dežela - knez - stanovi obravnava proces formiranja kranjskih deželnih stanov v času, ko so dosegli institucionalno trdnost in vzpostavili konstruktivno politično ravnotežje z deželnim knezom. Osrednji del rekonstruira sestavo kranjskih stanov v prvem stoletju njihovega obstoja in delovanje deželnega zbora do smrti cesarja Maksimilijana I. Monografija zajema skoraj dve stoletji poznosrednjeveške in zgodnjenovoveške politične in ustavno-pravne zgodovine (okvirno od leta 1335 do leta 1518), pri čemer se ne omejuje zgolj na deželo Kranjsko, temveč jo smiselno povezuje z drugimi habsburškimi deželami.     Abstract: The theoretical part of the monograph (' Gender and migration: experiences of women as actors of migration') is based on researching the meaning of gender for understanding migration processes and their classifications. By analysing established approaches in migration and related studies the author shows that the definition of the term migrant is related to processed of inclusion as well as exclusion. Through life-stories of female migrants the author tries to explain the wider social context of migration, which, despite the rise of qualitative migration studies in the last two decades, is still lacking in established approaches to migration. The main focus of research is on experiences and perspectives of female migrants. By combining theoretical and epistemological approaches in migration studies as well as in women and gender studies, the monograph contributes to enriching knowledge in both fields
    Abstract: Izhodišče teoretičnega dela monografije je raziskovanje pomena spola za razumevanje migracijskih procesov in njihovih različnih klasifikacij. Z analizo uveljavljenih pristopov migracijskih in sorodnih študij avtorica pokaže, da je že sama definicija pojma migrant proces, ki vključuje procese vključevanja kot tudi izključevanja. S pomočjo analize življenjskih zgodb migrantk avtorica skuša v monografiji pojasniti širše družbene okoliščine migracije, kar je še vedno, navkljub porastu števila kvalitativnih študij na področju migracijske teorije v zadnjih dveh desetletjih, manko bolj uveljavljenih pristopov. Prednost raziskave je v tem, da je temeljni poudarek na izkušnjah in perspektivah migrantk samih. Z združitvijo teoretičnih in epistemoloških izhodišč tako na področju migracijskih študij kot ženskih študij oziroma študij spolov pa besedilo prispeva k obogatitvi vednosti na obeh področjih

    Abstract: Knjiga želi predstaviti odprta vprašanja spremljanja in vrednotenja slovenske regionalne politike. V njej sta avtorja pripravila izhodišča spremljanja in vrednotenja, pri čemer sta spremljanje obravnavala kot pomemben element v celotnem razvojnem procesu, saj omogoča nenehen nadzor izvajanja, vrednotenje pa kot stalen interaktiven proces, ki omogoča premišljeno načrtovanje aktivnosti in njihovo prilagajanje spreminjajočim se razmeram. Osredotočila sta se na značilnosti spremljanja in vrednotenja v slovenski regionalni politiki ter pripravila modele vrednotenja, ki naj bi jih slovenska regionalna politika upoštevala v bodoče.     Abstract: The text-critical edition Turjaška knjiga listin II [Turjak Book of Charters II], containing 436 published documents from the 15th century, completes the medieval corpus of charters from the private archives of the Carniolan comital and ducal lines of the Auerspergs. Published in their entirety, the charters are equipped with Slovenian regests and followed in the end by a comprehensive index of names and pictures of seals from the charters.The Auerspergs [Turjaški] are among the rare noble families in the Slovenian territory with systematically preserved archives that date back to the Middle Ages. Most archival materials of the family, which was largely embedded in the framework of the Province of Carniola until the end of the 15th century, are presently kept in two private family archives: the Turjak Comital Fideicomiss Archives (Gräflich Auersperg'sches Fideikommisarchiv), first kept in the Turjak Castle until 1942 and now in the Carinthian Provincial Archives in Klagenfurt, and the Turjak Ducal Archives (Fürstlich Auersperg'sches Archiv), which were first moved to the Turjak Palace in Ljubljana and the Lower Austrian Lösensteinleiten Castle and finally ended up in the Viennese Haus-, Hof-, und Staatsarchiv

    Abstract: Garden-plot areas spontaneously developed and were distributed across the entire flat area of Ljubljana. Due to a new, more urban lifestyle and a policy change by the city authorities, the area of garden plots fell considerably at the end of the twentieth and the beginning of the twenty-first centuries. The most recent analysis of plot gardening in the City of Ljubljana, which surveyed 302 plot gardeners, showed that the overall infrastructure available in garden-plot areas is relatively poor. This activity is mainly practiced by older and lower-income people, most of whom live in apartment buildings. Due to pesticide residues and heavy metals in the soil and produce, as well as groundwater contamination, plot gardening poses a threat to public health and the environment. The 2008 Draft Ljubljana Zoning Implementation Plan foresees a reduction in the total area of plot-gardening areas by nearly half~however, even the planned community garden plots include some that do not meet the minimum location standards. Some garden-plot areas are problematic primarily because they are located close to major traffic routes. In the future, plot gardeners will have to be more systematically informed and educated about proper and safe use of fertilizers and pesticides
    Abstract: Vrtičkarstvo je nastalo zaradi družbenih, gospodarskih in prostočasnih potreb človeka v mestnem okolju, najprej v industrijskih srednjeevropskih deželah, od koder se je razširilo v vse razvite države sveta. Na območju Ljubljane so bila stihijsko rastoča vrtičkarska območja razporejena po vsem ravninskem delu. Vrhunec v razprostranjenosti so dosegla v devetdesetih letih 20. stoletja. Knjiga je namenjena tako vrtičkarjem kot načrtovalcem mestnega razvoja, pa tudi študentom, politikom in vsem občanom, ki jim ni vseeno za prihodnji prostorski razvoj slovenskega glavnega mesta. Dejstvo je, da so tako rekoč vsa vrtičkarska območja v Mestni občini Ljubljana navezana na zemljišča na vodovarstvenem območju. Zaradi ostankov fitofarmacevtskih sredstev in težkih kovin v prsti ali tleh in pridelani hrani ter onesnaževanja podzemne vode vrtičkarstvo predstavlja tveganje za zdravje ljudi in okolje

    Abstract: The Alps are one of the most sensitive regions in Europe, and their future development represents a challenge that demands the cooperation of various experts, the business world, politics, and society, as well as the people living there. The Interreg IIIB project DIAMONT, which took place from 2005 to 2008, also addressed Alpine developmental challenges. This monograph presents the basic results of the project, supported by the broader theoretical framework of regional and sustainable development. We first present the cultural differences in the Alps and their influence on sustainable regional development. This is followed by the results of a Delphi analysis, which helped reveal the basic development tendencies in the Alps, and then we discuss appropriate indicators for regional development and harmonizing data. Attention is then dedicated to regional development instruments and the participative process, which is essential for attaining truly sustainable development. Finally, we present a Slovenian perspective on these issues
    Abstract: Alpe so eno najbolj občutljivih območij v Evropi. Njihov razvoj predstavlja izziv, ki zahteva sodelovanje stroke, predstavnikov gospodarskega, političnega in družbenega življenja ter prebivalcev. Z razvojnimi izzivi Alp se je spopadel tudi Interregov IIIB projekt DIAMONT, ki je potekal med letoma 2005 in 2008. V monografiji so predstavljeni njegovi bistveni rezultati. Najprej so prikazane kulturne razlike v Alpah in njihov vpliv na trajnostni regionalni razvoj, sledijo rezultati delfi analize, ki je pomagala izluščiti bistvene razvojne smernice v Alpah, nato pa je izpostavljena problematika primernih kazalnikov regionalnega razvoja ter harmonizacije podatkov. V nadaljevanju je pozornost namenjena instrumentom regionalnega razvoja in participativnemu procesu, ki je ključen za zagotavljanje resnično trajnostnega razvoja.     Abstract: Knjiga podaja večplastne odgovore na obseg in vzroke prostorskih, pa tudi družbenih, gospodarskih in fiziognomskih sprememb na slovenskem podeželju. Predstavlja rezultate interdisciplinarnega raziskovalnega pristopa pri prepoznavanju prostorskih sprememb in načrtovanju razvojnih usmeritev. Podrobne raziskave so izvedene na treh pilotnih območjih, izbranih tako, da je zajet presek značilnih slovenskih makropokrajinskih enot, obenem pa so pokriti tako procesi intenzifikacije kot marginalizacije v pokrajini. Za vsako pilotno območje so pripravljeni razvojni scenariji v treh različicah.     Abstract: The monograph presents Badenian calcareous nannoplankton from NE Slovenia. Several hundred samples from 22 measured sections have been studied. In total, 109 species of calcareous nannoplankton are determined and described, many of which are new to Slovenia. The entire interval studied was assigned to the Middle Miocene. The excellent preservation and high species diversity enabled a precise subdivision of this interval into 6 successive interval zones, correlated with the absolute time scale (15.5 - 13.1 Ma) and with the 3rd order eustatic cycles (TB2.3, TB2.4 and TB2.5). Lists of all examined nannoplankton assemblages and their paleoecological analyses are also included. The monograph is a comprehensive review of the taxonomy, biostratigraphy and paleoecology of Miocene calcareous nannoplankton in the western part of the Central Paratethys

Iz več sto vzorcev z 22 posnetih profilov je določenih in opisanih 109 vrst nanofosilov, mnoge med njimi so nove za Slovenijo. Preučevani interval je v celoti uvrščen v srednji miocen. Odlična ohranjenost nanofosilov in velika diverziteta sta omogočili zelo natančno razdelitev obravnavanega intervala na 6 lokalnih intervalnih con, ki so korelirane z absolutno časovno lestvico (15,5-13,1 milijonov let) ter z globalnimi evstatičnimi cikli 3. reda (TB2.3, TB2.4 in TB2.5). Monografija vsebuje tudi podatke o sestavi vseh obravnavanih nanoplanktonskih združb in podaja paleoekološko analizo.     Abstract: Borovo gostüvanje, a wedding with a pine tree, is a Carnival tradition characteristic of the region of Prekmurje in northeast Slovenia~of the Porabje in Hungary and the area extending toward northeast Hungaria~and of Austrian Burgenland and Styria. The custom was traditionally held if there had not been a single wedding in the village during fášenk time (the period between Christmas and Shrovetide). In the present time, this is no longer relevant. The tradition is recreated in order to collect funds for village matters, particularly for the local fire brigade~to keep the tradition going~and to attract tourists. Elderly villagers say that the principal objective has always been to do something for the village and its development.This text focuses on the village of Predanovci, where the custom had been observed by this author in 2002. Yet the author did not limit herself merely to this event but analyzed previous ones as well~examined the ways in which the older generation of the villagers still remembered the custom from their younger days~their relation to village traditions~and their perspective on the importance of this custom in the past and at present

    Abstract: The main goal of the entire project was so to investigate problems of daily commuting of workers, pupils and students, especially from the modal split point of view. The project is structured in two parts.The first part of the book is an extensive analysis of modal split by different relations (routes) and groups of commuters (pupils, secondary school pupils, students and workers). We tried to establish the areas in Slovenia where the usage of public transport is the weakest and to provide credible causes of that. The data of modal split was compared with the supply of public transport and with this we established that there is a significant link between the high public transportation usage and the high quality and competitiveness offer of public transportation vis-à-vis personal transportation.The next chapter was dedicated to particular pilot areas where the supply of public transport was greatly improved (Dol pri Ljubljani, Ankaran, Idrija, Nova Gorica). With the method of field interviewing and passenger counting we found out that the greatly improved offer of public transport does not necessarily cause a greater demand for public transport and thus the shift towards a more sustainable mobility.The synthesis of the book is in ten recommendations of possible transport policy measures for the purpose of achieving more sustainable mobility patterns with workers and students
    Abstract: Knjiga prikazuje problematiko dnevnih potovanj šolarjev in delavcev v Sloveniji, zlasti z vidika izbire prometnega sredstva. Prvi del knjige analizira način prevoza na posameznih relacijah in po posameznih skupinah dnevnih vozačev (osnovnošolci, srednješolci, študenti in delovno aktivni). Ugotavljali smo, na katerih območjih in na katerih relacijah v Sloveniji je uporaba javnega potniškega prometa najšibkejša in skušali podati razloge za to.     Abstract: The work is a critical edition of the preserved fragments of five notary codices from Piran (1289-1305) with notes made by the notary Dominicus Petenarius. Notaries entered into notary codices the essential features of business transactions in stenographic form, specific writing and simple Latin. This is a valuable type of sources for the study of medieval and later history. The entries portray the economic and social life of cities and their surroundings, their administration, judicial system, everyday life, population development, urban image, as well as culture and arts, all of which serve the purposes of research conducted by experts in various fields. The edition is equipped with a standard critical apparatus and an accompanying study which is also translated into English. The main part of the text encompasses the transliteration of the manuscript comprising 518 agreements with different contents. Each is marked with a successive number, defined with regard to its content and dated. The specific features of the original and inconsistencies in writing are described in notes.     Abstract: The plan of spatial arrangement, which was given to us by the real estate developer to asses (environmental report and the estimation of the susceptibility of impacts on protected areas), deals with 80 hectars of the north-western part of Lipica Stud Farm, which covers the area of the existing golf course as well as the area of its foreseen expansion. We tried to establish, describe and evaluate all the important aspects of plan realization, taking into consideration all of the environmental goals and area characteristics based on the different segments of the environment. A major impact would be seen only in the potentially special protected area of Kras, more precisely on the group of beetles, among which we stress "Morimus funereus" as the qualification bird species of Natura 2000. We suggested the exclusion of 17 hectars of the area from further operations and the establishment of the new distribution of some individual golf-fields. The improved suggestion incorporates the exclusion of a stripe of the western part of the area in question, where there is a habitat of Morimus funereus. This change would also mean the preservation of fossile sites and of maple forests
    Abstract: Načrt prostorskih ureditev obravnava 80 hektarjev severozahodnega dela Kobilarne Lipica, kjer sta obstoječe igrišče za golf in območje njegove predvidene razširitve. Ugotavljali, ovrednotili in opisali smo pomembne vplive izvedbe načrta, pri čemer smo po različnih segmentih okolja upoštevali okoljske cilje in značilnosti območja. Ob razširitvi igrišča bi bil opaznejši vpliv le na potencialno posebno ohranitveno območje Kras, in sicer na skupino hroščev, med katerimi je kot kvalifikacijska vrsta Nature 2000 izpostavljen bukov kozliček (Morimus funereus). Zato smo iz nadaljnjih posegov predlagali izločitev območja, velikega 17 ha. Popravljen predlog upošteva izločitev območja na zahodu obravnavanega območja, kjer je habitat bukovega kozlička, s to spremembo pa bi zavarovali tudi nahajališča fosilov in lepo ohranjene javorove gozdove

    Abstract: Žitje protopopa Avvakuma je bilo napisano v sredini 17. stoletja, ki je v ruski zgodovini nenaključno označeno za »prehodno«. Stoletje spreminjanja in nepomirljivih trenj so pogojevale okoliščine dogodkov, katerih zgodovinski oris se omejuje predvsem na obdobje, ko se zgodi prelomna cerkvena reforma. Takrat se je zgodil cerkveni razkol in so bili iz Ruske cerkve izobčeni t. i. razkolniki, ki so se zavzemali za ohranitev pretekle staroruske tradicije tako v bogoslužju kakor tudi v pismenosti in celo v vsakdanjem življenju. »Prehodno stoletje« pa je avtorica predstavila skozi »oči« razkolnika protopopa Avvakuma: njegovo življenje (biografija), družbena in literarna dejavnost so povezani v celosten in vsestranski prikaz njegovega (v žitju izpričanega) religioznega nazora. Njegovo »življenjsko« delo pa je literarno besedilo, v mnogem prelomno v zgodovini ruske književnosti, saj pisano izpod roke neanonimnega avtorja in naslovljeno kot Žitje, odpira vprašanje o začetkih avtobiografije v Rusiji

    Abstract: Slovenia is endangered by floods. Frequent intensive rainfall and heavy rains, a large proportion of mountainous and hilly regions, and numerous populated narrow valley bottoms are the primary reasons for this threat. Floods endanger about seventy thousand hectares of lowlands, and torrential flooding endangers a further three thousand hectares. Due to this enormous threat, Slovenia has more than one hundred years of experience in the field of flood prevention, while only more recently has the awareness developed in the European Union that flood prevention is cheaper in the long run than simply dealing with the consequences of floods. This fact is reflected in the increasing number of laws passed to deal with this danger, and for this purpose maps of flood hazard and flood risk are very important and are presented in the book
    Abstract: V knjigi je predstavljen geografski pogled na zapleteno problematiko poplav, poplavnih območij v kontekstu medsebojno prepletenih naravno- in družbenogeografskih procesov, ki potekajo v konkretni pokrajini oziroma prostoru. S takšnim pristopom so poplave in poplavna območja obravnavani kot pomembne sestavine pokrajine, sestavni deli izjemno kompleksnih součinkovanj in povratnih učinkov. Te bi morali nujno poznati in v vsakdanjem življenju upoštevati zlasti pri načrtovanju posegov v prostor, ki si ga poplavne vode pogosto neusmiljeno prisvajajo. V preteklosti se je človek poplavnim območjem izogibal, v sodobnosti pa na to pogosto pozablja. Poplave so poleg potresov najhujše naravne ujme v Sloveniji, ki nam povzročajo ogromno gmotno škodo in včasih jemljejo tudi človeška življenja. Zaradi silovite dinamike in nenadnega pojavljanja jih ne moremo preprečiti, lahko pa se nanje ustrezno pripravimo

    Abstract: Knjiga obravnava erozijske procese v slovenski Istri in je prva monografija s tovrstno tematiko pri nas. V uvodnih poglavjih so predstavljeni rečno-denudacijski relief v Sloveniji, erozijsko-denudacijski procesi in njihovi vplivni dejavniki ter obseg erozijskih procesov v Sloveniji, Sredozemlju in Sivi Istri. Največji del knjige je namenjen predstavitvi konkretnih meritev erozijsko-denudacijskih procesov v porečju Dragonje. Meritve, ki so potekale od februarja 2005 do maja 2006, so obsegale meritve erozije prsti, sproščanja flišnih kamnin iz strmih golih pobočij, premikanja sproščenega flišnega gradiva po erozijskem jarku in kemične denudacije v porečju. Sproščanje flišnih kamnin je v povprečju okrog 80 kg/m2 na leto, kar pomeni, da se pobočja umikajo s hitrostjo od 35 do 50 mm letno. Meritve denudacije so razkrile, da se površje na 1000 let zniža za 66 mm

    Abstract: Agricultural terraces are the predominant landscape element in the Goriška brda region. These were once made by hand, but started being built mechanically after the Second World War. Reshaping slopes into terraces increases the amount of arable farmland. Farming, especially cultivation of vineyards and orchards, is still the most important industry in this region. The development of winegrowing has indelibly marked the image of the cultural landscape here.Terraces are mostly being abandoned in regions with market-oriented mechanized farming. Much of the formerly terraced land in upper Goriška brda is now completely overgrown or deteriorated. The former extent of these agricultural terraces cannot even be precisely determined using the land cadastre carried out under Emperor Franz I. In contrast, the agricultural terraces in lower Goriška brda are being constantly renovated.Maintenance of terraces prevents water loss and reduces soil erosion. When the shape of hillsides is changed, large quantities of soil are moved, and steep slopes are altered, this can cause land slippage and large areas can become unstable. Detailed study indicates that Goriška brda is exposed to a high risk of landslides.This study was carried out as part of Interreg project IIIB Alpine Space, titled "The Terraced Landscapes of the Alpine Arc" (ALPTER)
    Abstract: Monografija na primeru Goriških brd predstavlja slovenske izsledke v okviru mednarodnega raziskovalnega projekta, katerega glavni namen je preprečevanje propadanja terasiranih kmetijskih zemljišč v širšem območju Alp. S terasnim preoblikovanjem pobočij se povečuje obdelovalno kmetijsko zemljišče, preprečuje negativne učinke erozije, tudi erozije prsti, zadrži pa se tudi več vlage in podaljša talno vlažnost. Prevladujoča pokrajinska prvina v Goriških brdih so kulturne terase. Nekoč so terase urejali ročno, po drugi svetovni vojni pa so jih začeli graditi strojno. V zgornjih Goriških brdih je zaradi negativnih demografskih gibanj veliko nekdanjih terasiranih območij že popolnoma propadlih ali zaraščenih. Nasprotno kulturne terase v spodnjih Goriških brdih lastniki nenehno obnavljajo in posodabljajo. Knjiga ni le temeljit prispevek k obravnavi kulturnih teras, ampak je najbolj poglobljeno delo o Goriških brdih nasploh

    Abstract: The book brings a thorough review of landslide susceptibility in Slovenia. In the introductory chapter the most significant geographical and other Slovenian literature on slope processes is listed, and then the basic characteristics of landslides are explained. The landslide susceptibility in Slovenia is presented on the example of twelve large landslides, followed by the chapter on legislation on natural disasters in Slovenia.The most important part of the book is the detailed description of methods for elaboration landslide susceptibility maps with different methods. The deterministic, statistical and probabilistic methods and corresponding maps are described into detail. Such maps have been elaborated with the geographical information system using the digital elevation model 25 x 25 m.     Abstract: Knjiga obravnava gnojišča in gnojnične jame kot potencialne točkovne vire onesnaževanja na Ljubljanskem polju, zaradi prepletanja številnih dejavnosti tudi sicer izpostavljenega hudim okoljskim obremenitvam. Posebno ogrožene so tamkajšnje bogate zaloge podtalnice, ki predstavljajo naravni vir regionalnega pomena. Raziskava je bila izvedena leta 2002 na celotnem vodovarstvenem območju Ljubljanskega polja s površino nekaj več kot 56 km2. Na anketiranih kmetijah je bilo skupaj registriranih 307 gnojnih objektov, od tega 151 gnojišč in 156 gnojničnih jam. Večina preučenih gnojnih objektov je bilo primerno urejenih. Večje zgostitve problematičnih gnojišč in gnojničnih jam smo zaznali v drugem varstvenem pasu črpališča Hrastje. Devet povsem neurejenih gnojišč ni imelo niti betoniranega dna niti oboda, tako da je gnojnica pronicala neposredno v prst in naprej v podtalnico

    Abstract: Using the approaches of semiotics and text linguistics, Žerjal-Pavlin's monograph deals with Slovenian lyrical cycles from romanticism to postmodernism. They are understood as secondary texts composed of primary texts with the intention of expanding the horizons of the textual world and, within them, further intertextually supplementing the meanings of individual texts, thereby generating a new semantic potential of the cyclic whole. Due to the intersubjectivity of textual criteria and dynamic conventions of the literary system, the lyrical cycle cannot be defined with precision. Several variables are in play: intra- and intertextual coherence, the title and the outer form, and literary conventions (such as poetry collections). Two types of the cyclic composition are distinguished: the syntagmatic and paradigmatic, the former tending towards the epical. In the first variety, the elements are arranged either in a narrative manner or they treat the theme thorugh causal relationships between the poems. The cycles of the paradigmatic type use variation to express the same theme or motive in different perspectives or contexts. The monograph also addresses problems in distinguishing the lyric cycle from the lyric poem, the sonnet wreath, and similar supra-textual compositions

    Abstract: The Auerspergs [Turjaški] are among the rare noble families in the Slovenian territory with systematically preserved archives that date back to the Middle Ages. Most archival materials of the family, which was largely embedded in the framework of the Province of Carniola until the end of the 15th century, are presently kept in two private family archives: the Turjak Comital Fideicomiss Archives (Gräflich Auersperg'sches Fideikommisarchiv), first kept in the Turjak Castle until 1942 and now in the Carinthian Provincial Archives in Klagenfurt, and the Turjak Ducal Archives (Fürstlich Auersperg'sches Archiv), which were first moved to the Turjak Palace in Ljubljana and the Lower Austrian Lösensteinleiten Castle and finally ended up in the Viennese Haus-, Hof-, und Staatsarchiv.Turjaška knjiga listin 1 (1218-1400) [Turjak Book of Charters I (1218-1400)] contains 277 charters from the private archives of the Carniolan comital and ducal lines of the Auerspergs [Turjaški].     Abstract: V Turjaški knjigi listin I (1218-1400) je objavljeno 277 listin iz zasebnih arhivov kranjske grofovske in knežje linije Turjaških (Auerspergov), ki so jih v sklopu grajskega arhiva do leta 1942 hranili na gradu Turjak, danes pa so shranjene izven slovenskega ozemlja. Listine so objavljene v celoti, opremljene so s slovenskimi regesti, ob koncu pa sledijo še obsežno imensko kazalo in slike pečatov z listin. Pripravljena izdaja turjaških listin sega do leta 1400 in je prvi del serije, v kateri bodo v končni fazi objavljene vse, tudi novoveške turjaške listine. Slovensko zgodovinopisje bo z objavo turjaških listin pridobilo nepogrešljiv pripomoček za raziskovanje slovenske srednjeveške in novoveške zgodovine

    Abstract: The first part of the book discusses the position of Slovenian émigré literature and its place in the framework of Slovenian national literature and culture. In the second part, the most significant immigrant writers in Slovenia are presented, and their position in the cultural context of Slovenia is analyzed. The third part comprises a broader examination of the immigrants' position in Slovenia, their (cultural, socio-economic, political) integration, and the level of their equality regarding the status of their cultural-artistic activities and their affirmation in broader Slovenian society. The last part of the book opens a number of comparisons between the positions of Slovenian emigrants and the immigrants in Slovenia.The comparative analysis focuses on the factors influencing cultural life of the immigrant community as such. This is followed by a chapter on literary bilingualism among emigrant/immigrant writers. The concluding chapters continue to problematize the concept of a single "national language" as the demarcation line between national literatures.     Abstract: Prvi del knjige obravnava položaj slovenske izseljenske književnosti in njeno mesto v okviru slovenske nacionalne kulture. V drugem delu so predstavljeni najrazpoznavnejši priseljenski pisci v Sloveniji in njihov položaj v kulturnem kontekstu nove domovine. Tretji del je posvečen širši obravnavi položaja priseljencev v Sloveniji, stopnje njihove (kulturne, socialno-ekonomske, politične) integracije, stopnje njihove enakopravnosti na področju ohranjanja in izražanja etnične/kulturne identitete ter uveljavljanja njihovih kulturno-umetniških dejavnosti in dosežkov v širši slovenski družbi. Zadnji del knjige odpira vrsto primerjav med kulturnim položajem slovenskih izseljencev in priseljencev v Sloveniji. Težišča obravnave so na dejavnikih, ki vplivajo na kulturno življenje priseljenske skupnosti kot take, pa tudi na vprašanjih literarne dvojezičnosti izseljenskih/priseljenskih piscev ter problemu togega zamejevanja nacionalne književnosti z enim samim »nacionalnim jezikom«

    Abstract: In the first part of the Divje babe I monograph, data from the field of the natural sciences is presented, analysed and interpreted. This is primarily stratigraphic, sedimentological and chronological data and data on the remains of flora and fauna. The latter includes detailed analysis of charcoal from a number of hearths and the remains small and large mammals, with a stress on cave bear. The series of absolute ESR datings and the climatogram of the site should be highlighted in particular, which shows the course of temperature and humidity by layers in the chronozone of the Early and Middle Würm or oxygen isotope stages OIS 5 and OIS 3. The remains of flora and fauna from OIS 3 in particular are analysed, which enables new insight into palaeo-environmental and climatic conditions of this poorly known chronological segment in Slovenia and neighbouring regions. Archaeological finds, including Mousterian bone artefacts, will be presented in the planned second part of the monograph
