    Abstract: Hong Kong Waters ist das jüngste Projekt des Berliner Medienkünstlers Andreas Müller-Pohle. Über einen Zeitraum von zwei Jahren hat er die asiatische Megastadt aus der Perspektive des Wassers fotografiert – halb unter, halb über der Wasseroberfläche – und damit ein neues, bisher ungesehenes Bild Hongkongs geschaffen.Hongkong ist bekannt für seine hyperdichte Hochhausarchitektur, doch nicht weniger charakteristisch ist seine vielgestaltige Wasserlandschaft mit ihren über 700 Kilometern Küste, 260 Inseln und zahllosen Flüssen, Kanälen, Reservoirs und Wasserfällen. Hong Kong Waters bringt diese beiden Dimensionen der Stadt zusammen: ihre vertikale Urbanität und ihre horizontale Anpassung an das Wasser. Der in Koproduktion mit Asia One Books erscheinende Band zeigt 63 Fotografien dieses ungewöhnlichen Stadtporträts, das auch Videos und einen Soundtrack umfasst.
