Abstract:
"Landmark description of gallery and artifacts recovered during 1966-67 excavations. Pottery is classified into undecorated wares and Chavín and non-Chavín styles, and is described by morphology. Stone, bone, antler, shell, and human and animal remains are discussed. Non-funeral context, post-deposition fracture, subterranean location, and early date (1100-750 BC) suggest inaugural ceremony.
