    Abstract: Das Standardwerk „Deutsche Exilliteratur 1933-1950“ von Hans-Albert Walter wird mit diesem Band abgeschlossen. Die bereits vorliegenden Bände behandeln das europäische Appeasement und überseeische Asylpraxis (Bd. 2), Internierung, Flucht und Lebensbedingungen im Zweiten Weltkrieg (Bd. 3) sowie die Exilpresse (Bd. 4). Bd. 1 ist in zwei Teilbänden der Vorgeschichte des Exils gewidmet. Nachdem Bd. 1,1 die Mentalität der Weimardeutschen und die „Politisierung“ der Intellektuellen dargestellt hat, ist Ausgangspunkt des nun erscheinenden Bandes 1,2 die Frage, wie es 1933 zu einer historisch beispiellosen Vertreibung von Autoren, Intellektuellen und Wissenschaftlern kommen konnte. Der Autor untersucht u.a. den „Revolutionstourismus“ linker Schriftsteller in die Sowjetunion, die auf dem rechten Auge deutlich blinde Weimarer Justiz, literarische Hochverratsprozesse, Verbote und Notverordnungen. Ausführlich widmet sich Walter auch dem Agieren namhafter Zeitungen und Publikumsverlage. Das Werk endet mit der Bücherverbrennung am 10. Mai 1933

    Abstract: Anna Pineker-Fischer untersucht bildungssprachliche Anforderungen und Unterstützungsmaßnahmen in der naturwissenschaftlichen Unterrichtskommunikation. Der wissenschaftliche Ertrag der Arbeit liegt in der umfassenden und systematischen Analyse von theoretischen Aspekten einer sprachförderlichen Unterrichtsinteraktion. Des Weiteren leistet das Werk einen Beitrag zur empirischen Klärung der Frage, welche Kategorien und welche Instrumente sich für eine Untersuchung der kognitiven und sprachlichen Seite der Unterrichtsinteraktion im Fach Chemie eignen. Exemplarisch werden Möglichkeiten für einen sprachsensiblen Fachunterricht aufgezeigt. Der Inhalt Systematisierung von Alltags-, Bildungs- und Fachsprache Sprachliche und kognitive Anforderungen in der naturwissenschaftlichen Unterrichtskommunikation Grundelemente eines sprachsensiblen Fachunterrichts chlernen Die Zielgruppen Dozierende und Studierende der Pädagogik und der Fakultät für Deutsch als Zweitsprache Lehrerinnen und Lehrer, Referendarinnen und Referendare, die ihren Fachunterricht sprachsensibel gestalten und reflektieren wollen Die Autorin Dr. Anna Pineker-Fischer ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Universität Duisburg-Essen.     Abstract: Antisemitism is on the rise in Europe, sometimes manifesting in violent acts against Jews, but more commonly noticeable in everyday discourse. This innovative empirical study examines written examples of antisemitism in contemporary Germany. Drawing on 14,000 letters and e-mails sent between 2002 and 2012 to the Central Council of Jews in Germany and the Israeli embassy in Berlin, as well communications sent between 2010 and 2011 to Israeli embassies across Europe, the authors show how language plays a crucial role in activating antisemitism across a broad spectrum of social classes, investigate the role of emotions in antisemitic argumentation patterns, and analyze “anti-Israelism” as the dominant form of contemporary hatred of Jews
