    Abstract: History Teaching in the university context is a completely unexplored field of research in Italy and for a large part also in those countries that can boast more solid traditions of studies in this research area. This is caused by the shared idea that the academic context is always a guarantee of a high quality of teaching. This work reverses this thesis and therefore aims to deeply investigate the teaching and learning of History to understand its effectiveness; in other words, this means understand whether and how the university can lead students to the development of Historical Thinking, i.e. the most important of the educational objectives concerning History. Through the comparison between Italy and Spain (one of the most advanced country in this research area), the use of a large variety of sources (including specific surveys) and a wide recognition of the Didactics of History as a discipline (with reference to its most important debate on Historical Thinking), the result is a first attempt to identify and analyze the original characteristics and critical issues of History in the higher education system which focuses on the most relevant disciplinary traditions, practices and teaching tools, and also on the complex relationship of academic History with school, publishing industry and digital.

L'attuale processo di valutazione può talvolta negare i servizi alle persone che hanno bisogno di sostegno, mentre è generoso con le persone con problemi di salute significativi ma che non presentano una disabilità grave. Una valutazione della disabilità che tenga conto degli aspetti medici e funzionali, aiuta a indirizzare i servizi e le risorse verso le persone più bisognose. Inoltre, aiuta ad armonizzare l'accesso alle prestazioni e ai servizi di disabilità in tutto il Paese. L'attuazione della riforma sulla disabilità si è rivelata difficile in Italia. Il presente rapporto offre evidenza del fatto che la riforma può migliorare le condizioni delle persone con disabilità.

    Abstract: It is well known that Sweden once had a state institute for racial biology, as well as that extensive racial research was conducted in Sweden during the first decades of the 20th century. But what actually happened to Swedish race research after the 1930s - did it just disappear? In The science that disappeared? historian Martin Ericsson conducts the first systematic survey of Swedish race research from the mid-1930s to the early 1970s. It is a story of a racial science that survived the horrors of World War II and endured longer than we might like to believe as criticism grew in the post-war period. And about the Norwegian Institute for Racial Biology, which was never shut down, but lived on in a different form and under a different name. Ericsson shows that there was not a single Swedish racial research tradition, but two. One was based on the first director of the Institute of Racial Biology, Herman Lundborg, and had clear connections to Nazism and other extreme right-wing movements. The second can be said to be based on Lundborg's successor Gunnar Dahlberg and was instead anti-Nazi and in some cases even anti-racist. But both traditions agreed that there were different human races and that it made sense to try to measure differences between them. By following the Swedish race research until the end of the 20th century, the book also raises important questions about our own time and its interest in ""origin"" and ""descent"". How fundamentally different are today's dna analyzes from the old racial research traditions? What if we risk asking the same questions as 1930s racial biology stuck with new techniques?

    Abstract: L’impatto della guerra in Ucraina è chiaramente avvertibile nei Paesi OCSE, soprattutto nelle regioni di confine in prima linea nella gestione della crisi umanitaria dei rifugiati. Anche gli effetti sull’economia, specie quelli legati all’aumento dei prezzi dell’energia, si dispiegano in modo differenziato a livello territoriale, interessando alcune regioni più di altre. L’Italia non fa eccezione: i settori produttivi a elevato consumo di gas naturale sono per lo più concentrati nelle regioni settentrionali, mentre le aziende agricole e della produzione alimentare a base di grano sono relativamente più diffuse nelle regioni meridionali e insulari. Sebbene nel complesso la Russia rappresenti una quota minoritaria delle esportazioni italiane, alcuni territori e settori sono più esposti di altri a una diminuzione degli scambi bilaterali, come nel caso delle destinazioni più popolari tra i turisti russi ad elevata spesa pro capite.

    Abstract: The European Axis policy remains largely unwritten. Little is known about the factors that united or divided the Fascist regime and the Nazi Reich regarding the post-war order. Furthermore, even less is known about the Italian plans for a fascist Europe, which wartime events soon relegated to the margins of Axis policy. This book reconstructs the debate on the new European order developed from the 1930s to the spring of 1943 by Fascist politicians, philosophers, writers, anthropologists, and geographers. The debate progressed alongside the evolution of the international framework and in parallel with the war. The diachronic examination of these projects, where distinctive elements of Fascist ideology were instrumentally entwined with Latin and Catholic tradition, allows us to recover the thread of relations between Italy and Germany and between Italy and the minor allies of the Axis. The very choice of words - Fascist Europe, Axis Europe, Catholic Europe or Europe of Nations - reflects a shift in the balance of power: from collaboration to competition, from fear to an attempt to regain prominence. In 1943, the idea of a Europe of nations with an explicitly anti-German intent was the final, unrealistic assertion toward a new order where Axis Europe was not just Nazi Europe

    Abstract: The promotion of greater diversity in the socio-demographic profile of the teaching population is the subject of an increasing international interest. However, the perspective of teachers with disabilities/specific learning disorders (SLDs) is still poorly investigated, especially in Italy. The entry of teachers with disabilities/SLDs into the teaching profession can represent a decisive step towards the development of increasingly higher levels of inclusion both in teacher training and in the school setting, also considering the benefits that teachers with disabilities/SLDs can bring in terms of inclusive values and practices. Although, the topic raises some dilemmas and tensions, elicited by the dual mandate of schools and universities, which are called to ensure the quality of: a) the educational offer; b) the professional profile of (student) teachers who (will) work in schools. At the same time, they need to grant (student) teachers the right to use accommodations during their educational and professional career. The volume presents a multi-perspective reflection on the subject, presenting ‒ in particular ‒ two systematic reviews on international research on the topic and an empirical study conducted within the Italian context.     Abstract: The persistence of a separation in work roles and tasks between men and women, which reproduces the partition between the private sphere, linked to the feminine, and the public sphere, unbalanced on the masculine, is particularly evident in the social, health and educational professions even in the most economically advanced countries, regardless of the welfare structures. Starting from the unequivocal evidence of the numerical prevalence of women in social work - a feature common to all the different conjugations in which the profession is expressed from State to State - the authors discuss the issue of gender in social work from different angles, offering the reader a rich plurality of themes, theoretical concepts and research approaches. National and international researches show the persistence of cultural matrices and gender stereotypes with regard to the division of labour, noticeable already during training, in the mentality of students and trainers, and often also in professionals themselves. The critical reflections of the authors are oriented towards the search for an antidote to the permanence of the status quo, and at the same time towards the development of an advanced mode of social intervention and gender-aware attention, both among professionals and with users and clients of the services.     Abstract: The flow of literature from Sweden to France is unlike anything else. Canonized authors such as August Strindberg and Selma Lagerlöf have been surprisingly successful in translating into French. The same applies to later high-prestige literature by Torgny Lindgren and P O Enquist. French publishers were also among the first to discover the Swedish detective story writers. The rights to Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy were bought by a French publisher before the novels began to be published in Swedish. Children's literature, on the other hand, perhaps Sweden's foremost contribution to world literature, had a late breakthrough in the French book market. This also applies to Astrid Lindgren, the incomparably most successful of all authors translated from Swedish. Why did Swedish fiction receive this particular reception in France? This book describes how Swedish literature has been translated into French, with a special focus on the period after 1945. During this period, the number of editions of Swedish fiction in French has increased tenfold. Which translators, publishers and other actors have contributed to this development? How have they reasoned and acted to promote the interests of Swedish literature? What types of literature and authorship have been particularly successful? These questions are answered on the basis of comprehensive statistics based on the latest bibliographic lists. The book also discusses the theoretical conditions for this type of study. The leading researchers in world literature research - Pascale Casanova, David Damrosch and Franco Moretti - are related to a literary sociological study of the book's communities

    Abstract: The essay aims to propose a double way of reading the urban context of Naples, addressing in the first part a chronological review of the events that accompanied its urban growth, from its foundation to the present, in order to synthesize the evolutionary characteristics that defined Naples as a "City ", in relationship with the political and administrative events that determined them and the social, economic and cultural repercussions that ensued. In the second part, the point of observation has been changed. Starting from the peculiarities of the Neapolitan "vicolo" (alley), considered as a "Paese" (Town), a fundamental element for urban life and vitality, the author studies its socio-behavioural, settlement, economic and cultural characteristics, considering the narrative testimony, the artistic representation and the cultural manifestations that have animated and still animate the transmission of memories. The research starts from the consideration that in the Neapolitan "vicolo", as in the whole city, even the foreigner is, after World War II, called "Paisano" (villager) as well as in post-revolutionary France every person was considered as a "Cittadino" (citizen)
    Abstract: Il saggio ha inteso proporre un doppio tipo di lettura del contesto urbano di Napoli, affrontando nella prima parte una rassegna cronologica degli eventi che ne hanno accompagnato la crescita urbanistica, dalla sua fondazione al presente, puntando a sintetizzare i caratteri evolutivi del suo definirsi “Città” relazionati alle vicende politico amministrative che li hanno determinati ed alle ricadute sociali, economiche e culturali che ne sono derivate. Nella seconda parte si è cambiato punto di osservazione. Partendo dalla specificità del “vicolo” napoletano, inteso come “Paese”, elemento matriciale della vita e della vitalità urbana, se ne sono specificati i caratteri socio comportamentali, insediativi, economici e culturali, assumendo come fonte di privilegiata informazione la testimonianza narrativa, la rappresentazione artistica e le manifestazioni culturali che ne hanno animato e ne animano la trasmissione delle memorie. Si parte dalla considerazione che nel “vicolo” napoletano, come in tutta la città, anche il forestiero viene, nel secondo dopoguerra, appellato “Paisano” (paesano) come nella Francia postrivoluzionaria ogni individuo si fregiava dell’appellativo “Cittadino”

    Abstract: Il volume raccoglie gli esiti del Laboratorio di Sintesi Finale del corso di Laurea Magistrale in Progettazione Architettonica MAPA presso il DiARC Dipartimento di Architettura, strutturato attorno alla compartecipazione di due discipline, la composizione architettonica e urbana, affrontata nel corso tenuto dal professore Renato Capozzi, e la progettazione esecutiva, affidata alla professoressa Erminia Attaianese. Il Laboratorio ha assunto un bando di concorso articolato in due fasi con oggetto la progettazione di un edificio a forte vocazione pubblica, con l’obiettivo di sottoporre agli allievi una sperimentazione progettuale basata sulla simulazione di una reale partecipazione ad un bando di concorso. Il mercato coperto a San Giovanni di Dio nel quartiere Monteverde a Roma, ha costituito il tema d’anno per gli studenti, producendo dieci risposte, in cui sono state rispettate sia le indicazioni qualitative e quantitative che il numero di elaborati richiesti, tenendo assieme la complessità del progetto di architettura e i suoi aspetti esecutivi e costruttivi. In this regard, Outcome Research is of great interest as a research area based on Real World Evidences (RWE). Indeed, analyses of evidence produced in a Real-World context can confirm or not the value of political decision-making to improve governance and the quality of health-services provided. The aim of this work is to provide a detailed snapshot of the prevalence of chronic diseases and related comorbidities in Campania Region. At the same time, it also aims to be an effective knowledge tool for decision-makers involved in the planning of health policies and strategies
    Abstract: Una delle sfide che ha maggiormente segnato il dibattito pubblico degli ultimi anni ha riguardato lo sforzo di salvaguardare la sostenibilità dell’assistenza sanitaria in relazione al cambiamento demografico. Il progressivo invecchiamento della popolazione, nonché la tendenziale cronicizzazione delle malattie, richiede l’impiego di metodiche di cura con requisiti tecnologici-assistenziali sempre più avanzati e costosi, che in Italia gravano e mettono in difficoltà, sia da un punto di vista sanitario sia economico, il Sistema Sanitario Nazionale. Tale criticità è emersa anche durante la pandemia da COVID-19, comprovando la necessità di ripensare al modello di gestione della cronicità, ancora troppo centrato su una prospettiva specialistica e/o ospedaliera, per renderlo più idoneo a rispondere alle problematiche assistenziali dei pazienti nel rispetto delle risorse economiche disponibili. A questo proposito, può risultare di grande interesse l’Outcome Research, intesa come area di ricerca che si avvale della Real World Evidence (RWE), poiché dalle analisi delle evidenze prodotte nel mondo reale è possibile confermare o meno la validità delle decisioni politiche attuate al fine di migliorare la governance e la qualità dei servizi erogati. Questo lavoro intende proporre una fotografia dettagliata della prevalenza delle patologie croniche, e delle relative comorbidità, in Regione Campania ma, nel contempo, vuole anche essere un efficace strumento di conoscenze a disposizione di quei decisori impegnati nella programmazione delle politiche e delle strategie sanitarie

    Abstract: Livio Odescalchi (1652–1713), nephew of Innocent XI, paid the price in his youth for the pope’s anti-nepotism policy, who chose to deny him any official position. During the same period, Livio had to submit to the oppressive control of his uncle, his testamentary guardian – an unhappy situation that, at the time, caused him to be considered a symbol of misfortune. In spite of this, the young man was able to lay the foundations for a strategy of economic and social ascent that would later bear fruit. After the death of Innocent XI, a period of compensation began, built on the accumulation of honours and possessions, financial investments, commissions and art trades, patronage, social celebrations, and international networks. This book, based on Roberto Fiorentini’s doctoral thesis (Aprilia 1987 – Washington 2019), examines both phases of Livio Odescalchi’s life, analysing them in the light of a considerable quantity of archival documents, some of which are completely unpublished
    Abstract: Livio Odescalchi (1652–1713), nipote di Innocenzo XI, pagò in gioventù il prezzo della politica antinepotista del pontefice, il quale scelse di negargli ogni incarico ufficiale. Negli stessi anni, Livio dovette oltretutto sottostare al controllo opprimente dello zio, suo tutore testamentario – una condizione infelice al punto che, nella cultura del tempo, la sua figura venne notoriamente associata a simbolo di sventura. Nonostante ciò, il giovane seppe gettare le basi per una strategia di ascesa economico-sociale che avrebbe dato i suoi frutti in seguito. Morto Innocenzo XI, ebbe inizio infatti un periodo di riscatto, costruito sull’accumulo di onorificenze e possedimenti, investimenti finanziari, committenze e commerci d’arte, mecenatismo, feste mondane e reti internazionali. Il volume, frutto della tesi di dottorato di Roberto Fiorentini (Aprilia 1987–Washington 2019), prende in esame ambedue le fasi della vita di Livio Odescalchi, analizzandole alla luce di una notevole quantità di documenti d’archivio, una parte dei quali completamente inediti
    Abstract: Livio Odescalchi (1652–1713), Neffe Innozenz’ XI., zahlte in seiner Jugend den Preis für die antinepotistische Politik des Papstes, der ihm jegliches offizielle Amt verweigerte. In denselben Jahren musste sich Livio der übermächtigen Kontrolle seines Onkels, der sein testamentarischer Vormund war, unterwerfen – eine so missliche Stellung, dass seine Person in der damaligen Kultur zu einem weitverbreiteten Symbol des Unglücks wurde. Trotzdem gelang es ihm, in jungen Jahren den Grundstein für eine Strategie des wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Aufstiegs zu legen, die später Früchte tragen sollte. Nach dem Tod Innozenz’ XI. begann eine Zeit der Kompensation durch die Anhäufung von Ehrungen und Besitztümern, finanzielle Investitionen, Aufträge und Kunsthandel, Mäzenatentum, Feste und internationale Netzwerke. The book firstly provides an introduction to what contextualization can be and do when we encounter the past in the form of texts, images or artifacts. From the very first day at the university, students in historical disciplines end up in such meetings. Therefore, the first four chapters of the book are primarily aimed at students in the introductory semesters. What does it really mean to analyze, synthesize, contextualize or criticize - and how do the ways of working with the past relate to each other? And further, what historical times are we working with: do we read source material from our own horizons or from those of the historical actors? Is the source material part of a long story or a short one? And who decides the answer to such questions? Secondly, the book provides an in-depth discussion of the role of contextualisation when we create new historical knowledge. The book's later chapters ask questions about how contextualisation relates to historical theory and method, and sheds light on the activity of creating, arguing for, and reconsidering the contexts that give meaning and significance to historical source material. The most central lesson the book wants to convey is that contextualization is an ongoing activity. Human horizons of understanding are constantly moving in step with contemporary knowledge interests.     Abstract: During the 1920s and 1930s the wordless novel – stories told in black-and-white wordless woodcuts – was established as a narrative genre. The genre was most popular in Germany, but was as well known in other parts of Europé and in the US. The wordless novel was characterized by the absence of words, the use of woodcut and other relief printing techniques, as well as themes of social critique and serious existential issues. The purpose of the book is to - through the wordless novels of the 1920s and 30s - explain the uniqueness of the wordless narrative and thus the autonomous narrative possibilities of the image. The method of the examination is a close reading of the German artist Otto Nückel's wordless novel Schicksal (Destiny 1926). A comparative material consists of the Czech artist Helena Bochořáková-Dittrichova's wordless novel Z Mého Dětství (From My Childhood, 1929). Wordlessness is studied through the image's characteristics as an intermediary of messages and narratives and through comparisons with other expressions - the silent film, cirkus, expressionist dance and visual art, as well as medieval woodcuts. Narratives – which are usually put together by verbal communication – are in this project a tool for seeing: the image sequences or the image groups that ""replace"" the words - not as a lack or implied meaning of words, but as a personal visual story

L’attuale crisi ha comportato, tra gli altri aspetti, una sperimentazione di massa del telelavoro, senza precedenti per dimensioni e portata. La transizione verso un modello di telelavoro diffuso su vasta scala e su base permanente avrebbe profonde implicazioni per la geografia del lavoro a livello locale. Le PMI potrebbero essere meno attrezzate delle grandi imprese per affrontare tale cambiamento. Le politiche pubbliche possono assumere un ruolo cruciale nel trasformare il telelavoro in un'opportunità per tutti, e ridurre il rischio di un potenziale ampliamento delle disparità preesistenti tra persone, territori e aziende.

Tuttavia il portafoglio delle politiche agricole al momento sottovaluta gli investimenti per la preparazione ad affrontare le emergenze e per l’adattamento a livello di azienda agricola, prediligendo strumenti che sono mirati ad assorbire gli impatti, come gli strumenti assicurativi. Ulteriori sforzi per sviluppare la resilienza del settore agricolo potrebbero trarre vantaggio da una strategia olistica di gestione dei rischi settoriali nel lungo periodo; una valutazione del bilanciamento tra le spese relative agli strumenti per l’assorbimento degli impatti, e gli investimenti per la misure volte a alla preparazione per la gestione delle catastrofi naturali e alla mitigazione degli impatti; e una considerazione più esplicita della demografia e delle capacità degli agricoltori nell’elaborazione delle politiche.

Il Trentino vanta la più alta densità di startup innovative sul totale delle nuove imprese presenti a livello locale rilevata tra le regioni italiane. Tuttavia, la propagazione delle startup a livello territoriale è avvenuta in modo disomogeneo, con una forte concentrazione nelle aree urbane. Inoltre, tra i fondatori delle startup trentine le donne e i giovani sono gruppi meno diffusi rispetto alla media nazionale. Il dinamismo delle startup, in particolare i tassi di crescita e di mortalità, l’adozione delle tecnologie emergenti e la propensione all’utilizzo degli incentivi nazionali sono altri aspetti al centro di questo studio, che si conclude con una serie di raccomandazioni a favore dei decisori politici basate sull’osservazione delle evidenze empiriche.

    Abstract: Questo rapporto analizza la dimensione territoriale della produttività nelle cooperative italiane, segmento che esprime una quota relativamente ampia dell’occupazione nazionale. Le cooperative assolvono a un’importante funzione anticiclica nella creazione di occupazione durante le crisi. Dopo la pandemia, potrebbero contribuire in misura significativa a un riorientamento dell’economia verso modelli maggiormente improntati all’inclusività e allo sviluppo sostenibile. In futuro, un rafforzamento dei livelli di produttività potrebbe favorire le cooperative nel perseguimento delle loro finalità di natura economica e sociale. Nell’analizzare la produttività nelle cooperative italiane, questo rapporto adotta un approccio incentrato sulla dimensione territoriale, date le loro numerose interdipendenze con le comunità locali. Le evidenze emerse mettono in luce i fattori locali maggiormente correlati alla prevalenza e alla produttività delle cooperative tra le regioni, i settori economici e nelle diverse classi dimensionali d’impresa. Un confronto con le imprese italiane non cooperative, così come con le imprese spagnole, cooperative e non, consente di osservare come i livelli di produttività varino a livello territoriale e tra diversi tipi di imprese osservati. Questo rapporto utilizza l’approccio analitico sviluppato dallo Spatial Productivity Lab dell’OCSE.

Tuttavia, si prevede che la crisi economica in atto costringerà le aziende a ridurre drasticamente le spese per la ricerca e l'innovazione, mentre i governi, dovranno far fronte sia all’enorme debito pubblico che alle molteplici richieste di sostegno finanziario. Questi sviluppi potrebbero avere ripercussioni a lungo termine sui sistemi di innovazione, in un momento in cui la scienza e l'innovazione sono sempre più indispensabili per gestire l'emergenza climatica, raggiungere gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile e accelerare la trasformazione digitale. I governi dovranno prendere alcune misure per salvaguardare i sistemi di innovazione nell’ambito dei loro pacchetti di stimolo e di ripresa, ma dovranno anche approfittarne per avviare le riforme necessarie. In particolare, le politiche in materia di scienza, tecnologia e innovazione (STI) dovrebbero essere orientate al sostegno di un programma più ambizioso di trasformazione del sistema che promuova una transizione ben gestita verso un futuro più sostenibile, equo e resiliente.

    Abstract: Dieser Open Access Band bietet sowohl deutsch- als auch italienischsprachige Beiträge zu wesentlichen Bereichen des gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes und des Urheberrechts aus der Sicht des deutschen, italienischen und österreichischen Rechts sowie zum TRIPS-Abkommen samt einem Blick auf das vorläufig in Kraft getretene Handelsabkommen zwischen Kanada und der Europäischen Union (CETA). Ein Schwerpunkt ist Schadenersatzansprüchen aus der Verletzung von Immaterialgüterrechten gewidmet, wobei die bei grenzüberschreitenden Sachverhalten auftretenden Fragen der internationalen Gerichtszuständigkeit und des Kollisionsrechts speziell behandelt werden. Darüber hinaus werden Bezüge zum italienischen Verfassungsrecht sowie zum europäischen Wettbewerbsrecht hergestellt und auch wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Aspekte angesprochen.     Abstract: A fifth of the 21st century is already behind us and the set of art music composed from 2001 to today is impressive. The current scenario raises many questions. How does the art music of the early 2000s differ - if it does - from that of the late twentieth century? Should we consider the twentieth century of ‘longue durée’ or do factors of discontinuity emerge? And is the alleged discontinuity between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in some way comparable to the major turning points in music history, such as, for instance, those that happened between the 16th and 17th centuries or between the 19th and 20th centuries? And again: how does the contemporary corpus of Western Art Music interact with other genres? And how does it relate to the various contemporary arts, from literature to the visual arts, from cinema to architecture? What is the impact on musical creativity of new technologies, the Internet, new media, artificial intelligence? How are the relationships between organizers, publishers, composers, performers, critics, and audiences redefined? How can live music be promoted during a health emergency?     Abstract: The volume has been set up in a friendly manner, and tries to propose Meteorology through images, focusing its attention on the description of the clouds, ethereal presences that almost always provide us precise information about the incoming weather. There are ten kinds of clouds, numerous species and even more numerous varieties, and each of them forms in the sky not by chance but as a consequence of a very precise physical and thermodynamic mechanism that is there developing in the atmosphere. Clouds can be considered the leading actresses of this volume and for each of them the author tried to identify the link between these mechanisms of formation and the probable future evolution of weather conditions. In the book, the most recurring type of cloud is the Cumulonimbus, also called “the storm cloud”, since it generates the most intense and devastating meteorological phenomena, such as storms, tornadoes, hailstorms, etc. After having extensively dealt with the phenomena associated with Cumulonimbus, the final part of the volume provides some useful insights to understand the response dynamics of the territory under the stresses induced by extreme rainfall events and, lastly, to identify planning territorial strategies able to reduce the impact on the ground. From this point of view, Green Infrastructures have a considerable potential, in particular if they are considered a key element in an overall plan of adaptation to the complex evolutive dynamics of climate change
    Abstract: Il volume è stato impostato in maniera divulgativa, e cerca di proporre una Meteorologia per immagini, concentrando la propria attenzione sulla descrizione delle nubi, eteree presenze che quasi sempre ci forniscono precise informazioni in merito al tempo che farà.Esistono dieci generi di nubi, numerose specie e ancor più numerose varietà, e ciascuna di esse si forma nel cielo non a caso ma perché nell’atmosfera, in quel punto, si sta sviluppando un ben preciso meccanismo fisico e termodinamico. Le nubi possono essere considerate le attrici protagoniste di questo volume e per ciascuna di esse si è cercato di individuare il nesso tra tali meccanismi di formazione e la probabile evoluzione futura del tempo meteorologico. Nel libro il tipo di nube più ricorrente è il Cumulonimbus, in quanto è proprio essa, detta anche nube delle tempeste, quella che genera i fenomeni meteorologici più intensi e, talvolta, devastanti, come i nubifragi, i tornado, le grandinate, ecc. Dopo aver diffusamente trattato i fenomeni associati ai Cumulonimbus si è passati, nella parte finale del volume, a fornire alcuni spunti utili a comprendere le dinamiche di risposta del territorio alle sollecitazioni indotte dagli eventi pluviometrici estremi e, in ultima analisi, ad individuare strategie di pianificazione territoriale in grado di mitigare gli impatti sul territorio. Da questo punto di vista, le Infrastrutture Green presentano notevoli potenzialità, in particolare se esse vengono considerate un tassello di primaria importanza in un complessivo piano di adattamento alle complesse dinamiche del cambiamento climatico

    Abstract: “Stai fermo un girone” è un gioco concepito sul modello del tradizionale “gioco dell’oca”, dedicato all’Inferno di Dante Alighieri e alle discipline della ricerca umanistica coinvolte nello studio del Medioevo. Per avanzare e vincere non occorrono soltanto conoscenze sui canti, i personaggi e i temi infernali, ma ci si dovrà anche confrontare con diversi metodi di indagine applicati ai testi negli studi universitari: questa, anzi, sarà la porta d’accesso per guardare all’opera dantesca sullo sfondo dell’intero Medioevo, con la sua storia, le sue idee, la sua cultura, i problemi che si è posto e le risposte che ha provato a dare. Il gioco potrà servire a stimolare e consolidare l’apprendimento in studenti delle superiori che incontrino per la prima volta i versi danteschi, o essere occasione per tutti gli appassionati per rivivere e ricordare – in maniera più disimpegnata – letture del passato.     Abstract: From the reorganization of the Archive of the Society of Naturalists in Naples, some drawings of insects and plants by Domenico Cirillo (1739-1799) reappear after two hundred and twenty years, fortunately escaped the fury of the Sanfedisti when they sacked and destroyed his house. They were confused among the papers of his pupil and friend Filippo Cavolini (1756-1810). Carefully studied in this volume, they are for the first time made known to scholars and admirers of the great physician and naturalist, who died for his ideals of justice and for the renewal of the old regime society. In addition to contributions documenting the contacts that Cirillo had with artists and printers, the volume also includes information on the costs he incurred for the publication of his books, to which is added the history that occurred to the manuscript papers of Filippo Cavolini and its descendants, the family De Mellis, which merged into the Society of Naturalists
    Abstract: Dal riordinamento dell’Archivio della Società dei Naturalisti in Napoli riappaiono, dopo duecentoventi anni, alcuni disegni di insetti e piante di Domenico Cirillo (1739-1799), fortunosamente scampati alla furia dei sanfedisti quando saccheggiarono e distrussero la sua casa. Si trovavano confusi fra le carte del suo discepolo e amico Filippo Cavolini (1756-1810). Studiati con cura in questo volume, vengono per la prima volta resi noti agli studiosi e agli ammiratori del grande medico e naturalista, morto per i suoi ideali di giustizia e per il rinnovamento della società di antico regime. Arricchiscono il volume, oltre a contributi che documentano i contatti che Cirillo ebbe con artisti e tipografi, informazioni sui costi che sostenne per la pubblicazione dei suoi libri, a cui si aggiunge la storia occorsa alla carte manoscritte di Filippo Cavolini e della famiglia De Mellis, che confluirono nella Società dei Naturalisti

    Abstract: Bramante’s skill in controlling the creation of a seamlessly conceived space shows how architecture can exploit its representative capacity of internal perspectives, considered architecture integration. The key adopted to reach this result is the “architectura picta” of the built space. It adopts built space combined with small apparatuses to conceal the critical points in which the continuity between real and virtual space is resolved. The multiplication of centers amplifies the effectiveness of the perspective, making it convincing from several points of view, even for a moving observer. The implicit perceptual effect overcomes the geometric correctness, which was neglected to enhance its effectiveness as a tool for creating a global and augmented art “ante litteram”. The research published in this volume documents, through a small number of selected cases studies, the unsuspected development in Lombardy in applying perspective decoration to architecture, understood in the broadest sense as the art of constructing artificial space. This latter consists of controlling the instruments of representation to improve perceptive involvement and visual communication. It underlines the continuity of Milanese perspective with the immersive spaces of augmented reality offered today by digital technology

    Abstract: In the rich Western societies, the several crises at the beginning of this century focus on the worsening of old economic and social problems, which have taken on new importance in the cities undergoing a rapid transformation because of the globalization and the new structures of the labor market. These are issues that have called into question the traditional political systems, with significant effects on the evolution of democratic systems. These issues have been raised throughout the 20th century and today they are once again central to the structural transformations aforementioned and to the crisis of the welfare systems built in Europe during the so-called Golden Age. The theme of living in the peripheries reappears in a dramatic way; a problem exacerbated by the fact that today these areas are no longer just those outside the cities (shaped by the processes of the economic modernization of the 19th and 20th centuries) but they deeply characterize the urban fabric and are linked to the existential conditions of those who live there. The book combines historical and geographical perspectives, according to an interdisciplinary approach. It is possible to examine the policies adopted and to be adopted in these territories and the role that social forces and associative networks have played and can play in identifying adequate and durable responses to such complex problems. A long-term view and a more systemic analysis allow a reflection on the relationship between socio-economic development and the processes of construction of the living together in the different contexts of European cities. Social actors, in their various forms, have offered and are able to offer strategic contributions for the production of new development models, in which the quality of life in working-class peripheries and the processes of social inclusion will be once again a priority, as required by the urban agendas of this new millennium

    Abstract: On the tenth anniversary from the death of Professor Cesare Scurati, this volume revamps research and reflection on the conceptual, methodological, and operational contribution that this scholar has offered to education at many levels, from childhood to schooling, from life-wide education to the style and ethics of being an intellectual and a teacher.
