    Abstract: Presents the history of women's suffrage in the United States through the dramatic, often turbulent friendship of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan Anthony. Part 1 covers the years from their youth up to the establishment of the National Woman Suffrage Association in 1868. Part 2 spans the period from 1868 to the passage in 1919 of the 19th amendment to the Constitution which gave women the vote.

    Abstract: Dokumentarfilm über die Aktionen zweier Computerbegeisterter Spaßvögel und Aktivisten, die eine täuschend ähnliche Website der Welthandelsorganisation (WTO) in Genf herstellten und mit den abstrusesten Ideen, die auch ernst genommen werden, seitdem im Internet herumgeistern oder zu Kongressen eingeladen werden. Dabei stört es die Einladenden nicht, wenn die angeblichen WTO-Vetreter sich für einen weltweiten Handel mit Wählerstimmen aussprechen oder vehement die Sklaverei verteidigen. Der Film zeigt eine äußerst kreative Form des Polit-Aktivismus und entlarvt zugleich die Leichtgläubigkeit innerhalb weltweiter und kaum noch verifizierbarer Kommunikationsstrukturen. Auch den Vertretern der Macht und des Geldes wird eine Art entlarvender elektronischer Eulen-Spiegel vorgehalten. [Film-Dienst]
