Abstract: Abstract: Die vorliegende Studie orientiert sich an folgenden Leitfragen: Welche Rolle spielen kulturelle Lernprozesse der Einwanderer für die Integration in die Einwanderungskontexte unter den Bedingungen der Transnationalisierung? Ist die kulturelle Anpassung eine notwendige Voraussetzung für Integration? Wie lassen sich diese Fragen aus transnationaler Perspektive interpretieren und reformulieren? Die Autorin bezeichnet die transnationale Migration als grenzüberschreitende Mobilität von Individuen und Kollektiven, die pluri-lokal verortete, transnationale Kontexte erzeugt. Sie zeichnet zunächst die aktuelle Diskussion über Koexistenz und wechselseitige Abhängigkeit zwischen transnationaler Eingebundenheit und "ankunftsorientierten" Assimilationsprozessen der Einwanderer nach, um Probleme und Lücken innerhalb dieser Debatte herauszuarbeiten.
