    Abstract: Klappentext: Nicht nur die Wirtschaftskonzeptionen des Sozialismus/Kommunismus sind gescheitert an den Realitäten dieser Welt. Auch der westliche Kapitalismus zeigt bedenkliche Krisensymptome. Die Frage nach geeigneten Grundlagen von Wirtschaftsordnungskonzeptionen stellt sich deshalb mit besonderer Dringlichkeit. Der gängige Neoliberalismus in der praktischen Wirtschaftspolitik aller westlich orientierten Ländern ist ebenso auf seine wissenschaftliche Basis und empirische Brauchbarkeit hin abzuklopfen wie der in östlichen bzw. sozialistischen Ländern noch immer zugrundeliegende Marxismus. Dieser Band, das Ergebnis einer mehr als 40-jährigen Forschungsarbeit, untersucht - auf Basis des Kritischen Realismus - verschiedene Wissenschaftsprogramme und setzt sie einem systematischen Vergleich aus. Dr. Reiner Porstmann lehrte und forschte fast vier Jahrzehnte an den Universitäten Göttingen und Kassel, im letzten Berufsjahrzehnt war er wissenschaftlicher Bibliothekar für Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Göttingen.

    Abstract: This book contributes to a better understanding of the importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles for corporate value in the energy industry. In particular, it analyzes how the energy industry is achieving this shift in response to government regulations and how it is addressing specific ESG issues. It discusses various economic incentives and market-based policies for ESG activities in the energy sector and highlights how energy firms are using environmental, social and governance initiatives to create value.     Abstract: Weder in der Technikphilosophie noch in der technischen Bildung besteht Übereinkunft hinsichtlich der Verwendung des Begriffs Technik. Da verwundert es nicht, dass auch die empirische Erforschung des Technikbegriffs von Kindern und Jugendlichen ein Forschungsdesiderat darstellt. Im Rahmen der hier vorgelegten Arbeit soll diesem Desiderat nachgegangen werden. Mittels Alltagssprachlichem Struktur-Lege-Spiel und Fragebogen wird untersucht, welche subjektiven Vorstellungen Kinder und Jugendliche bezüglich des Begriffs Technik zum Ausdruck bringen und wie stabil diese Begriffe sind. Die Aussagen der Kinder und Jugendlichen werden mittels strukturierender Inhaltsanalyse ausgewertet. Im Zentrum steht dabei das entwickelte Kategoriensystem, mit dem die Technikbegriffe aus den kindlichen bzw. jugendlichen Aussagen erfasst werden. Zusammenfassend lässt sich festhalten, dass keine typischen Technikbegriffe aus dem Datenmaterial herausgearbeitet werden können. Die Technikbegriffe der befragten Kinder und Jugendlichen unterscheiden sich stark. Allerdings kann gezeigt werden, dass die Kinder und Jugendlichen zum Teil scharfsinnige Gedanken über Technik zum Ausdruck bringen

    Abstract: Diese Open-Access-Publikation untersucht die Akzeptanz der sächsischen Bevölkerung gegenüber Energie- und Rohstoffvorhaben sowie die Eignung von Kommunikationsmaßnahmen zur Verbesserung des Akzeptanzniveaus. Die Bürger:innen werden erstmals repräsentativ zu ihrer (In-)Akzeptanz gegenüber Anlagearten befragt. Dabei wird nachgewiesen, dass die Akzeptanz bei lokalen Projekten immer geringer ist als soziopolitisch. Bei den erneuerbaren Energieumwandlungsanlagen ist die Akzeptanz gegenüber Wasserkraft- und Solaranlagen am höchsten, gegenüber Biomasseanlagen am geringsten. Fossile Energieumwandlungsanlagen sind weniger akzeptiert und Tage- und Untertagebaue werden am schlechtesten bewertet. Eine vergleichende Befragung der Unternehmensvertreter:innen des Energie- und Rohstoffsektors ergibt eine Dissonanz der von ihnen angenommenen zur erfassten (In-)Akzeptanz der Bevölkerung: Das Akzeptanzniveau ist unabhängig von der Art des Vorhabens geringer, als es die Unternehmensvertreter:innen annehmen. Die Erkenntnisse werden genutzt, um eine Webapplikation zu entwickeln, die es insbesondere kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen ermöglicht, zur Akzeptanzsteigerung geeignete Kommunikationsmaßnahmen auszuwählen. Die Autorin Stefanie Walter ist Assistant Professor für integrierte europäische Nachhaltigkeitskommunikation an der Fakultät Medien der Hochschule Mittweida sowie freiberufliche Kommunikations-, Projekt- und Eventmanagerin. Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf der Akzeptanz- und Nachhaltigkeitskommunikation sowie dem Kommunikationsmanagement.

    Abstract: This work presents a structural and operative model of successful processes of school reform, based on eleven source-based studies on the history of educational and school-based pedagogy. Oriented on real-world cases and sources, these studies analyse the reform practices of historical reform schools during the twentieth century. The point of reference in each case is the individual school as a pedagogical unit of action. The studies are historically and empirically grounded and provide in-depth insights into the historical practices of schools as well as historical school reforms. The term “conditions for success” is employed here to focus on organisational structures and pedagogical patterns of action within historical processes of reform. The findings are derived from the inherent logic of practical pedagogical processes of reform. These are structures and patterns of action developed by the pedagogical professionals themselves through social processes. The results of the educational-historical source studies are collated here in a model of recurring professional patterns of pedagogical action and structure. The resulting historically and empirically developed “Five-plus-two-K Structure of Successful School Reform Processes” was tested on 100 modern day reform schools and it could be shown that these processes recur over a period of about one hundred years. Following the inherent logic of pedagogical processes in schools, the “Five-plus-two-K Structure of Successful School Reform Processes” was developed through a process of professional pedagogical action, shaped by professional pedagogical action and interaction, and was differentiated for professional pedagogical action. This model is integrative on the basis that it is primarily pedagogically constituted and was closely developed with educational professionals. The model is thus an educational-historical contribution to a theory of school reform processes and contributes to the pedagogical understanding of the processes of school development
    Abstract: Auf der Grundlage von elf bildungshistorischen und schulpädagogischen Quellenstudien wird ein Struktur- und Handlungsmodell gelingender Schulreformprozesse entwickelt. Die Studien analysieren fallorientiert und quellengestützt die Reformpraxen an historischen Reformschulen des 20. Jahrhunderts. Bezugspunkt ist dabei jeweils die Einzelschule als pädagogische Handlungseinheit. Die Studien sind historisch-empirisch fundiert und geben vertiefte Einblicke in historische Schul(reform)praxis. Fokussiert werden mit dem Terminus Gelingensbedingungen organisationale Strukturen und pädagogische Handlungsmuster innerhalb der historischen Reformprozesse. Die Befunde leiten sich aus der Eigenlogik pädagogisch-praktischer Reformprozesse ab. Es sind Strukturen und Handlungsmuster, die von den pädagogischen Akteur*innen im sozialen Prozess selbst entwickelt wurden. Der Ertrag der bildungshistorischen Quellenstudien bündelt sich in einem Modell wiederkehrender pädagogisch-professioneller Handlungs- und Strukturmuster. Diese historisch-empirisch entwickelte „Fünf-plus-zwei-K-Struktur gelingender Schulreformprozesse“ wurde an 100 gegenwärtigen Reformschulen überprüft und konnte im Ergebnis in einem Zeitraum von rund einhundert Jahren als wiederkehrend validiert werden. Entstanden im Prozess professionellen pädagogischen Handelns, gestaltet durch professionelles pädagogisches Handeln und Interaktion und ausdifferenziert für professionelles pädagogisches Handeln folgt das Fünf-plus-zwei-K-Strukturmodell der Eigenlogik pädagogischer Prozesse in der Schule. Es ist anschlussfähig, weil es primär pädagogisch konstituiert ist und sich nah bei den Akteur*innen befindet. Das Modell ist somit ein bildungshistorischer Beitrag zu einer Theorie von Schulreformprozessen und trägt zum pädagogischen Verständnis von Schulentwicklungsprozessen bei

    Abstract: Social background determines educational success in Germany. The unequal distribution of educational opportunities is also evident in the area of support for the gifted: although giftedness and intelligence are normally distributed in society, students from less privileged backgrounds are underrepresented in scholarship programmes and support for the gifted. The reasons can be found among teachers who nominate students for support programmes. The study uses the RuhrTalente scholarship programme to analyse how teachers construct scholarship eligibility. From the results, measures can be derived that can contribute to a long-term reduction of educational injustice
    Abstract: Soziale Herkunft entscheidet in Deutschland über den Bildungserfolg. Die ungleiche Verteilung von Bildungschancen zeigt sich auch im Bereich der Begabtenförderung: Obwohl Begabung und Intelligenz in der Gesellschaft normalverteilt sind, sind Schüler:innen aus weniger privilegierten Verhältnissen in Stipendienprogrammen und Begabtenförderungswerken unterrepräsentiert. Ursachen dafür lassen sich bei Lehrkräften ausfindig machen, die Schüler:innen für Förderprogramme nominieren. Die Studie analysiert anhand des Stipendienprogramms RuhrTalente, wie Lehrkräfte Stipendienwürdigkeit konstruieren. Aus den Ergebnissen lassen sich Maßnahmen ableiten, die zu einem langfristigen Abbau von Bildungsungerechtigkeit beitragen können

    Abstract: Pauline Albrecht untersucht in ihrer Studie den Übergang junger Geflüchteter in den Arbeitsmarkt und verknüpft hiermit die Berufsbildungs- mit der Migrationsforschung. Am Forschungsstil der Grounded Theory orientiert werden Bildungs- und Erwerbsbiografien junger Menschen, die das Berliner Übergangssystem durchlaufen haben, rekonstruiert. Ausgehend von berufsvorbereitenden Angeboten werden Anschlussverläufe von geflüchteten Jugendlichen erforscht. Die subjektive Perspektive der jungen Fluchtmigrant*innen zeigt differenzierte Wahrnehmungs- und Umgangsweisen in der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Bildungs- und Ausbildungssystem, wohingegen die institutionelle Perspektive der pädagogischen Fachkräfte unterschiedliche Anforderungen an die jungen Menschen heranträgt und somit systemische Bedingungen der Berufsvorbereitung aufrechterhält. Die Frage, wie sich Anschlussverläufe aus der Berufsvorbereitung entwickeln, wird hinsichtlich einer Perspektivengegenüberstellung aufgegriffen. Zum Teil zeigen sich hier Überschneidungen sowie positive Passungsverhältnisse, jedoch auch Gegensätzlichkeiten und Widersprüche. Die Studie schließt eine erziehungswissenschaftliche Forschungslücke hinsichtlich des Übergangs junger Menschen mit Fluchthintergrund in den ersten Arbeitsmarkt. Die Autorin Pauline Albrecht ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Fachhochschule Potsdam im Fachbereich Sozial- und Bildungswissenschaften. In dem partizipativen, qualitativen Forschungsprojekt "laeneAs - ländliche Bildungsumwelten von Geflüchteten in der beruflichen Ausbildung" untersucht sie die Herausforderungen, die sich Geflüchteten während der Ausbildung stellen. .

    Abstract: Die Situation von queeren Menschen in Deutschland ist bereits in verschiedenen Studien erforscht worden. Diese belegen, dass Menschen mit nicht-heterosexuellen Orientierungen und/oder nicht cisgeschlechtlichen Zugehörigkeiten unterschiedliche Erfahrungen machen, die von Anerkennung bis hin zu Ausgrenzungen, Benachteiligungen und unterschiedlichen Gewaltformen reichen. Dieses Buch greift diese Ausgangslage auf und spezifiziert eine Perspektive auf junge queere Menschen, die nicht nur aufgrund ihres Queerseins, sondern auch aufgrund verzögerter Bildungszugänge und -abschlüsse sowie prekären Beschäftigungsaussichten eine marginalisierte Position innerhalb einer normativ geprägten Gesellschaft einnehmen. Zentral hierbei ist eine subjektorientierte Perspektive auf die Lebenssituation von jungen queeren Menschen im Schulberufssystem und Übergangssystem. Hierbei werden Diskriminierungsverhältnisse hinsichtlich geschlechtlicher und sexueller Vielfalt sowie klassenbezogener Benachteiligung analysiert und diskutiert. In diesem Zusammenhang werden zentrale Diskurse zu Queerness und sozialer (Un)Gerechtigkeit sowie damit verbundene Anerkennungsordnungen in den Blick genommen.     Abstract: Echoing the famous "The Limits to Growth" report from 1972, this edited volume analyses the changes that the World System has undergone to the present, on the fiftieth anniversary of the original report. During the past fifty years, both the concept and understanding of these limits have significantly changed. This book highlights that the evolution of the World System has approached a new critical milestone, moving into a fundamentally new phase of historical development, when the old economic and social technologies no longer work as efficiently as before or even begin to function counterproductively, which leads the World System into a systemic crisis. The book discusses the transition of human society to a new phase state, the shape of which has not yet been determined. New approaches are needed for both, for the analysis of the global situation, and for forecasts. The book is based on an integrated approach including the world-systems, historical and evolutionary perspectives, as well as a systematic view of society, in which changes in one subsystem cause transformations in others. Through mathematical modeling, it defines the main vectors of transformations of the World System; makes a detailed forecast of the development of all the main subsystems of the society and the World System, while presenting horizons of changes from short-term to ultra-long-term; and presents different development scenarios as well as recommendations on how to achieve a transition to the most favorable scenario. The book will appeal to members and followers of the Club of Rome, policy-makers, as well as to scholars from various disciplines interested in a better understanding of the World System evolution, global futures, development studies, climate change, and future societies. .

    Abstract: Warum Lehrkräfte entgegen bildungspolitischer Ziele, curricularer Anforderungen, begründeter lerntheoretischer Annahmen sowie pädagogischer, fachdidaktischer und empirischer Evidenz den Unterricht häufig nicht offen und autonomieunterstützend, sondern eher im Sinne eines angeleiteten Frontalunterrichts gestalten, gilt als weiterhin offene Forschungsfrage. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurde untersucht, inwiefern schulische Rahmenbedingungen und persönliche Faktoren von N = 9 Grundschullehrkräften die Implementation innovativer, geöffneter Lehr-Lernformen beeinflussen. Die qualitative Untersuchung wurde in einem Pre-Inter-Post-Design mittels Fragebogen, Leitfadeninterview, Beobachtung sowie kollegialen Gesprächs durchgeführt. Die Auswertung der Daten erfolgte durch eine inhaltlich strukturierende qualitative Inhaltsanalyse. Das ist die Frage, der Axel Honneth in seiner neuen großen Monographie nachgeht, deren Schlüsselbegriffe "gesellschaftliche Arbeit" und "soziale Arbeitsteilung" sind. Seine zentrale These lautet, dass die Teilnahme an der demokratischen Willensbildung an die Voraussetzung einer transparent und fair geregelten Arbeitsteilung gebunden ist. Honneth begründet zunächst, warum es gerechtfertigt ist, die Arbeitsverhältnisse auf ihre Demokratieverträglichkeit hin zu prüfen. Dann zeichnet er die Entwicklung der Arbeitsbedingungen seit dem Beginn des Kapitalismus im 19. Jahrhundert nach. Fluchtpunkt dieses mit eindrücklichen literarischen Zeugnissen illustrierten historischen Streifzugs, der unter anderem in die Welt der Landarbeiter, der - zumeist weiblichen - Dienstboten und der ersten Industriearbeiter führt, ist die Vermutung, dass die heutigen Arbeitsverhältnisse zunehmend die Chancen zur aktiven Teilnahme an der demokratischen Meinungs- und Willensbildung untergraben. Daher wird im letzten Teil des Buches umrissen, an welchen Scharnierstellen eine Politik der Arbeit heute anzusetzen hätte, um den sich abzeichnenden Missständen entgegenzuwirken und zu einer dringend benötigten Neubelebung demokratischer Partizipation beizutragen

    Abstract: Die Segregation des Arbeitsmarktes nach Geschlecht ist in der sozial- und wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Forschung bereits vielfach beleuchtet. Weniger Augenmerk wird in der Forschung auf Geschlechterunterschiede bei der Arbeitslosigkeit und speziell beim beruflichen Wiedereinstieg gelegt. An diese Forschungslücke knüpft dieses Forschungsprojekt an und untersucht Geschlechterunterschiede beim beruflichen Wiedereinstieg mit quantitativen und qualitativen Methoden. Die Herausgebenden Johann Bacher ist Professor am Institut für Soziologie der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Martina Beham-Rabanser ist Familiensoziologin am Institut für Soziologie der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Thomas Lankmayer ist am Institut für Berufs- und Erwachsenenbildungsforschung tätig.

    Abstract: This open access book presents an alternative to capitalism and state socialism through the modelling of a post-market and post-state utopia based on an upscaling of the commons, feminist political economy and democratic and council-based planning approaches. It discusses the left’s need to explore non-capitalist modes of production, the inability of green or socialist market economies to produce real social and ecological change, and the need to look beyond traditional ideas of reform and revolution. The book discusses how a socio-economic organisation beyond money, wage labour, patriarchal division of work and centralised state planning may look like. It develops an approach to societal transformation based on seed forms of commons practices and social movements.
