    Abstract: Im Auftrag des Schleswig-Holsteinischen Landesmuseums fertigt ein Böttchergeselle ein 50-Liter-Weinfaß auf 5 Stich: Anfertigung und Aufsetzen der Stäbe, Feuern und Zusammenwinden des Fasses, Einreißen der Kröse, Anfertigung und Einbinden der beiden Böden, Auftreiben der Bänder und Abputzen des fertigen Fasses.
    Abstract: The film shows the principal stages in making a fifty-litre wine cask: Preparing and arranging the staves, heating and binding together the staves, cutting the groove, making and putting the heads into place, hooping, and cleaning the finished cask.
