Abstract:
Die Soziologin (siehe zuletzt "Ein-Eltern-Familien", BA 2/93) beschreibt innerfamiliäre Veränderungsprozesse (Trend zur Ein-Kind-Familie, steigende Scheidungsraten, wachsende Zahl von Ein-Eltern-Familien). Sie warnt jedoch davor, einer heilen Familie mit enger Mutter-Kind-Bindung nachzutrauern, die es so nie gegeben hat. Vor allem zeigt sie die gesellschaftlichen Hindernisse auf, die bei uns die Berufstätigkeit von Müttern erschweren (fehlende Betreuungsmöglichkeiten außer Haus, eng begrenzte Kindergartenzeiten, Halbtagsschule, geringe Beteiligung der Ehemänner an Haushalt und Kinderbetreuung). Viel aktuelles Zahlenmaterial auch aus den neuen Bundesländern untermauert ihre Thesen. (2) (Ingeborg Neidhardt-Möller)
