Abstract:
Dieses wissenschaftliche Lesebuch begibt sich auf die Spuren transnationaler Lebenswelten. Auf originelle Weise verknüpfen die Autorinnen klassische und literarische wissenschaftliche Darstellungsweisen: Am Beispiel von Migrantinnen und Migranten in Deutschland, deren Lebensverhältnisse durch knappe finanzielle Ressourcen gekennzeichnet sind, betrachtet der Band unterschiedliche Facetten ihres Alltags sowie Herausforderungen und Praktiken, die nationalstaatliche Grenzen überspannen. Abstract:
This scientific reader follows the tracks of transnational living environments. In a fresh way, the authors connect classical and literary modes of scientific description: Through the example of migrants in Germany, who have to get by on tight financial resources, this volume looks at different facets of their everyday life as well as challenges and practices that transcend national borders. The suspenseful and informative topics lie at the intersections of (social) pedagogy, sociology, cultural anthropology, ethnology, and psychology.
