| English | English In the centre of the dancing-place stand the orchestra and the girls' chorus. The orchestra consists of two drums, four differently pitched flutes and one rattle. The girls sing songs in praise of prominent persons. The male dancers, about twenty boys, proceed in a parallel inner circle. Boys and girls perform different steps. Later on the dance changes and boys and girls both at a time perform the same combinations of steps. The particular steps have changed also. Quavers uttered by the girls and shouts uttered by the boys contribute to the acoustic animation of the dance. The film presents the "napa"-dance at full length. |
