Saniye Dedeoglu is Marie Curie Fellow at the Centre for Research in Ethnic Relations at Warwick University, UK and Assistant Professor in the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at the University of Mugla, Turkey. She is the author of 'Women Workers in Turkey: Global Industrial Production in Istanbul' (2007). Adem Yavuz Elveren is Assistant Professor of Economics at Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, Turkey. He was awarded a PhD in economics by the University of Utah in 2008, and has also studied at Ankara University and Boston University.
