Abstract:	»Care« has moved increasingly into the focus of public debate in recent years. Against the background of German reunification, Tatjana Thelen combines this central theme with the construction, reproduction, and resolution of significant bonds - a key problem in social science theory. This lays the foundation for an innovative theory of care and introduces new perspectives on processes of community building.The study combines perspectives of social anthropology, European ethnology, and sociology, but also offers important insights for nursing care practice
Abstract:	»Care« ist in den letzten Jahren zunehmend in den Mittelpunkt öffentlicher Diskussionen gerückt. Vor dem Hintergrund der deutschen Wiedervereinigung führt Tatjana Thelen dieses zentrale Thema mit der Konstruktion, Reproduktion und Auflösung bedeutsamer Bindungen zusammen - einem Schlüsselproblem sozialwissenschaftlicher Theoriebildung. Das legt den Grundstein für eine innovative Theorie von Care/Sorge und eröffnet neue Blicke auf Prozesse der Gemeinschaftsbildung.Die Studie verbindet Perspektiven der Sozialanthropologie, Europäischen Ethnologie und Soziologie, bietet jedoch auch wichtige Einsichten für die Praxis in Pflege und Betreuung
