Two men, Yoresiyawe the highest-ranking healer (sapori) and Kasiwe implant spirits into a man named Uraewe, who is already healer, but who wants to achieve perfection. The healers approach Uraewe dancing and singing, carrying the spirits with them and implanting them with pantomimic gestures. After this a man from another village, Kosisiwe, who is aspirant healer, undergoes a similar treatment and instruction. This time Yoresiyawe is assisted by the headman. Finally the aspirant dances a rehearsal hekuramou, watched by the other healers of the village who comment and encourage his performance.
