In der Trockenzeit ziehen die jungen, unverheirateten Männer mit den Rindern mehrerer Familien in eine futter- und wasserreiche Gegend und errichten dort ein Viehlager. Für die Nacht werden die Tiere im Lager angepflockt. Morgens und abends werden die Kühe gemolken, tagsüber zieht das Großvieh hinaus in die umliegenden Weidegebiete. Die getrockneten Kuhfladen werden als Brennmaterial für die nächtlichen Feuer gesammelt.

During the dry season young unmarried men drive the cattle of different families to a region where there is more grass and water and build up a cattle camp. During the night the cattle are tied up in the camp. In the morning and in the evening the cows are milked, in the day-time the big cattle go out to the neighbouring grazing grounds. The dried cow-droppings are collected and used as fuel for the nightly fire.
