Während eines Willkommenfestes, an dem das ganze Dorf teilnimmt, werden verschiedene Tänze aufgeführt. | | English | English The film shows the architecture and the interior decoration of a longhouse built in 1873 (50 metres long, 14 metres wide, constructed upon 30 ironwood girders 15 metres above the ground) and the daily life of its inhabitans: rice cultivation, collecting and processing rotan, village life on the river bank, aspects of the veneration of the dead. During a welcome festival, in which the whole village takes part, different dances are performed. |
