This dataset presents trends in plastic leakage to aquatic environments, for the 15 global regions of the OECD ENV-Linkages model for the 1990-2019 period. The dataset includes leakage to aquatic environments from mismanaged waste and litter, transport of plastics leakage to oceans and accumulated stocks in rivers and lakes, as well as in oceans.
