Abstract:
In the light of the developments outlined here, the aim of this article is to present the division of employment, household and family work into partnerships in the course of relationships in a European comparison. For this purpose, current empirical analyzes from comparative social policy are systematically linked with empirical findings on the gender-specific division of labor. The core thesis of this article is that current changes and persistence tendencies in gender arrangements can only be understood in the context of political, structural and historical-cultural framework conditions
Abstract:
Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, angesichts der hier skizzierten Entwicklungen, die Aufteilung von Erwerbs-, Haus- und Familienarbeit in Partnerschaften im Beziehungsverlauf im europäischen Vergleich darzustellen. Hierzu werden aktuelle empirische Analysen aus der vergleichenden Sozialpolitik mit empirischen Befunden zur geschlechtsspezifischen Arbeitsteilung systematisch verbunden. Die Kernthese dieses Beitrags ist, dass aktuelle Veränderungen und Beharrungstendenzen in den Geschlechterarrangements nur im Kontext politischer, struktureller und historisch-kultureller Rahmenbedingungen verstanden werden können
