Abstract:
Abstract: Nach einer Zusammenfassung der Hauptergebnisse stellt der Autor unter Anführung empirischen Zahlenmaterials die individuellen Bedingungen des Medienverhaltens junger Werktätiger und Studenten in der DDR vor. Dabei wird bei den Jugendlichen "hohes politisches Interesse, Leistungsorientierung, eine ausgeprägte DDR-Verbundenheit, reichhaltige soziale Erfahrungen, vielfältige Gesprächsaktivität, hohe Erwartungen an die Massenmedien und ein umfangreicher Mediengebrauch" konstatiert. Im 3. Teil der Untersuchung geht der Autor auf die Rolle der DDR-Jugendmedien ein. Zunächst werden die Erwartungen von Lehrlingen, jungen Arbeitern und Studenten an Jugendpresse, -funk und -fernsehen im allgemeinen dargestellt, um anschließend die Nutzung und Bewertung von den Printmedien "Junge Welt", "Neues Leben", den Jugendsendungen des DDR-Rundfunks und des DDR-Fernsehens mit Hilfe von Tabellen aufzuzeigen.
