Abstract:
Dieses Buch untersucht die Implementierungsbedingungen von Gender Budgeting in öffentlichen Haushalten. Die in der Policy-Forschung verankerte Untersuchung kommt zu folgendem Ergebnis: Gender Budgeting, ein Instrument zur Herstellung von Geschlechtergerechtigkeit, wird dann eingeführt, wenn Frauen als Entrepreneure die Initiative ergreifen und männliche Akteure als Mitstreiter gewinnen. Auf der Grundlage von 28 Interviews aus den drei Bundesländern Baden-Württemberg, Berlin und Nordrhein-Westfalen besticht die vergleichende Studie durch ihre Detailkenntnis politischer Abläufe. Die Zielgruppen Dozierende und Studierende der Politikwissenschaft, der Gender Studies, der Öffentlichen Verwaltung und der Finanzverwaltung Praktizierende aus den Bereichen Verwaltung, Politik, insbesondere Gleichstellungspolitik, und Öffentliche Finanzen Die Autorin Christine Rudolf war 15 Jahre Abgeordnete. Sie ist heute geschäftsführender Vorstand einer Genossinnenschaft und unterrichtet an der HTW-Berlin
