Abstract:
Publication of the Tribute Proceedings to the late Fatema Mernissi, held on March 31st, 2016 at UIR. «Fatema’s Dreams of Transgress : Defaulting the Boundaries of Islamic Feminism» features a number of academics, researchers and Ph. D. students, alongside friends, fans and advocates of Fatema’s Dreams. Their scholarly contributions and intimate testimonials highlight the human, aesthetic, literary, spiritual and moral capacities of a woman writer, artist, social activist and human nature theorist.
