Abstract:
"Für immer in Pop, der Hamster im Rad" hat Martin Büsser mit seiner Band Pechsaftha selbstironisch über die Arbeit als Musikjournalist gesungen. Trotz dieses Lebens im Hamsterrad als freier Journalist, Autor und Verleger haben seine Texte immer einen Mehrwert, spürt man in ihnen die Bedeutung, die Musik in Martins Leben hatte. "Music Is My Boyfriend" hieß entsprechend ein erster Sammelband mit Musiktexten des 2010 verstorbenen Ventil-Mitgründers und Poptheoretikers. "Für immer in Pop" liefert erneut einen Querschnitt seiner Texte über Musik: Interviews mit Nirvana oder Henry Rollins, Artikel über die Veränderungen von Subkulturen und den "Mainstream der Minderheiten", aber auch ein Nachruf auf den Komponisten Iannis Xenakis stehen neben selbstkritischen Beschäftigungen mit der Zunft der Plattenkritiker und -Sammler
