Abstract:
Las imágenes, las palabras, el arte y algunas profesiones y su singularidad, hoy en día, nunca antes estuvieron tan bien integradas en una sola forma de comunicación: la publicidad. No siempre fue así; desde la época de los pregoneros en la edad media, la publicidad dependía de la voz, de la entonación, de la gravedad al hablar, se necesitaban otros atributos para informar sobre un mensaje en particular. Hoy en día para pensar el hacer publicidad, en muchos casos, participan no solo la voz, sino las voces y los puntos de vista de sociólogos, antropólogos, psicólogos, ingenieros, músicos, artistas plásticos, diseñadores, escritores, mercadólogos, comunicadores sociales, publicistas; es decir, la publicidad y la forma de hacerla no ha sido la misma y ha ido cambiando, así mismo como cambian los seres humanos y sus entornos sociales, culturales, económicos, políticos y religiosos. Una manera de analizar ese cambio de la publicidad en Colombia a lo largo de un siglo por medio de las publicaciones ininterrumpidas es a través del análisis de la revista Cromos. Sumergirse por medio de la investigación fue un desafío para la publicidad y un reto sin precedentes para los investigadores, porque permitió evidenciar sobre cómo se hacían los mensajes publicitarios a comienzos de siglo XX y cómo fueron cambiando esos mensajes con la llegada de la imprenta, con la invención de la cámara fotográfica, con la llegada del cine, la radio, la televisión y la internet, etc
