Abstract:
This book discusses the position of Aurel Kolnai's book "Der Krieg gegen den Westen" (The War against the West) in the context of contemporary debates on Nazism. It focuses on Kolnai's view of Nazism as a fundamental threat to the Western society and its value systems, while neglecting the emerging dangers of Bolshevism for the middle class. The book also discusses racial ideology, anti-Semitism and religion, Kolnai's political philosophy and his moral philosophy form the theoretical context of Bialias' analysis of Nazism.
